More than enough room to store all of clippers, and trimmers plus all of the accessories along with them. My only complaint would be that the inserts don’t fit exactly flush.

Ten years ago I bought the heavier built blue-and-white Wahl 79300-400 Color Pro for $5 less than I paid for this black and gray 79722 now. Meanwhile, the comparable-looking blue-and-white 73900-1001M costs $10 more than this one at time of writing (while they look the same I don’t actually know if they’re still of the same quality)This one is smaller and lighter–and definitely has a “cheaper” overall feel to it–which you might expect for 2/3 the price. I went for the $10 discount, as having it be lighter while traveling is actually an asset for me. I’d be surprised if it lasted the 10 years that the old blue and white one did, but I’ve been surprised before.Most of my hair and I long since parted over creative differences. So I can only use the two smallest attachments, and I kind of wish there were finer control in the shorter range…if I wanted to use it for facial hair too. But that’s not what this is marketed for, so I have a ton of attachments to drag around in case someone else needs their hair cut.In the first cuts with the new clippers, I’ve had no issue with the noise. It had gotten bad with the old 79300, because the blades and screws had reached some point of disharmony…where in the middle of a cut it would just break into a resonant howl from the mechanics–bad enough to disturb any neighbors you would have. Combined with dull blades and a fear that maybe it was getting old enough to where it might fail mid-haircut, I decided replacement was a good strategy.It works as expected. But if you’re not traveling with it, and easily have the $10 to spare, I’d imagine most people should kick in for the other model to get a step up in the build quality (assuming the blue/white versions have kept that up).

I was hesitant to transition from a corded clipper set to these cordless, but I am thankful that I gave them a try. I have been cutting my own hair for years and I haven’t been satisfied with many clippers in the past.These are not constructed cheaply and I would say that their price directly reflects the product. They are certainly not high-end clippers/trimmers, but I am not a professional nor do I like to waste my money on brand names. These clippers/trimmers are worth the price and seem to function just as well as professional clippers.Both trimmer and clipper function much better than any other trimmer’s I’ve had in the past (“professional” Wahl), and they do so with ease; no hair pulling or jamming. They are not extremely light (which can cause me to be too choppy with my movements), not are they too heavy and wear out my grip quickly. A great feature is that the adjuster on the side of the clipper clicks into position rather than glides which stops it from self-adjusting as you cut. On the bottom of each clipper and trimmer is a loop for hanging; another great feature. Both the trimmer and clipper have a half-speed and full-speed. I didn’t feel the need to use the full-speed just yet. The battery life is more than enough. I spent 30 minutes cutting (on half-speed) and it went from 100% to 88%, completely relieving my hesitations from corded to cordless.Of course with every product, someone finds something to pick out. I would say the only improvement that this product use is that the attachments for the clippers only go up to a size 4 (13mm). Most sets I’ve had in the past go to a size 8. I know most professionals don’t necessarily need those larger attachments sizes, but for anyone who cuts their own hair, it is a great option to have and sometimes necessary.

In comparison to the other cases available at this price point I believe it is quite well built and would protect the contents quite well.The netting for the top compartment is the only downside. Tag present but was able to be removed easily. The stitching is a bit messed up and looks like there is glue or something stuck in it at a glance. The top compartment is quite small and only hold the smallest guards, replacement blades, oil, & cleaning brush. However the inside leaves plenty of room for me to fit the clippers and guards sizes 3,4, 6-8.
