Top 10 Best Coffee Travel Mugs 2022 For You To Buy

I really like Contigo travel mugs for the leak-proof feature. I can carry it around the house and if I knock it over, it won’t immediately leak. And I don’t have to remember to flip a tab. My old ones with the tapered bottom, rounded mid-section and flared top were much easier to hold. I have to hold this new one all the way at the top to push the button to drink, which is a little harder for my 75-year-old arthritic hands. It also does not fit in my 2006 BMW, but does fit in our 2015 BMW. The models that are straight at the bottom do not fit in either car. I wish Contigo would bring back the original model.

Let me start by saying that I have exclusively used Contigo autoseal mugs since they first came on the market. THIS model (luxe) is a MAJOR disappointment.Let’s start with the lid – it makes everything taste like metal. The metal lid gets EXTREMELY hot making it nearly impossible to drink hot beverages.Next – of all the Contigo mugs I’ve ever had, THIS mug is the WORST for keeping hot things hot and cold things cold. All of my other mugs, I could fill it with ice, come back 4 hours later and still have ice! THIS model, I fill with ice and 4 hours later I have a nice cup of ice water…overnight that same cup of ice is then semi-cold water (no ice). Hot beverages are muke warm within an hour or so. NEVER, EVER have I EVER had this happen with ANY other Contigo auto seal mug I’ve had…EVER!THE ONLY reason I EVER have had to replace my previous Contigo mugs is b/c they’ve been stole or b/c of something I did to it. The PREVIOUS autoseal models NEVER gave me these issues. One year I gave away TWENTY of the PREVIOUS autoseal model and EVERYONE (even the kids) LOVED THEM!!!HOWEVER – THIS LUXE MODEL IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST PRODUCT I HAVE EVER PURCHASED FROM CONTIGO.SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED HERE. Will be requesting a refund and will hunt for the other model with the plastic lid with hopes that this is a fluke and that Contigo hasn’t just stopped caring about its product quality. I would hate to have to start hunting for other brands b/c Contigo has been my go-to brand for YEARS!

This is the only travel mug I will buy and the only Contigo product that I really like and will spend the money on. I have purchased several of these and my last one is the first that had any issues HOWEVER, I learned that this was my fault as this was not meant for carbonated beverages so the pressure can build up and spray a bit when your first press the button to take a drink. Totally my fault but I still drink carbonated beverages out of them and still love this mug!

I am a stroke victim and must use leakproof containers if I want to drink coffee in my bedroom with my PC. This Contigo product is leakproof, but it is not suited for drinking hot beverages, as advertised. Hot beverages degrade the rubber seal that prevents leaks in the lid. Chilled beverages work well enough, and I have learned to enjoy chilled coffee. Even with chilled beverages, this product has lids that do not last longer than six months to a year.Replacement lids can be obtained when there isn’t a shortage for about $5 each. Right now there’s a shortage of lids, and you can’t find them ANYWHERE. Contigo was kind enough to give me a Contigo coffee mug for free, with a lid.The second problem with this product is it is DIFFICULT to clean at the best of times. Even the new version. The trick I use is soaking the problem lid in a bowl of soapy water for a full night. That seems to get the sucker clean. I then rinse the lid, and proceed to fix the coffee.

arrived as promised and in good packaging. The volume was smaller than I expected, and the product listing did not show the volume. Easy to hold while walking. Definitely spill-proof. When drinking from it one needs basically to sip, not gulp because of the small drinking opening and the shut off valve. I have only used it for hot liquids at it seems to not be insulated as well as my other Contigo cup, but still keeps coffee drinkable for 2-3 hours. I didn’t really need the spill-proof feature, but it sounded like a good idea. That feature also changes the “drinkability” of the cup because of the shut-off valve.

I normally drink my coffee quick but I decided to take my time after buying this. I didn’t do a test to see how long it would stay hot I just took a sip every 5 minutes or so until ran out. Took me 3 hours to finish and the coffee was still hot. Not warm but actually hot. As far water. I did do a cold test. from the time I started work to the time I finished (10 hours) this bottle actually kept my juice cold. I would HIGHLY recommend this

I was initially a bit hesitant on buying a coffee mug for ~$40. Seemed a bit overpriced IMO. I just wanted a thermal mug to keep my coffee hot while working from home. There’s oodles of other brands/mugs out there that would do the trick however, they either weren’t really leak proof or didn’t keep the beverage hot for awhile. Just lots of small things that wasn’t what I was looking for. Plus the reviews on them were hit or miss. So, I bit the bullet and figured I’d give this mug a shot and see if it was worth the $40. So far, it’s been holding up quite well.It’s leakproof which was a big point for me. When the lid is closed (and the cap is put on properly), the mug doesn’t leak. I held it upside down and not a drop came out so yay for this. So far, I’ve had my morning cup of coffee in this mug for about 4 hours and it’s still nice and toasty hot. Cleaning it easy so no concerns there. The mug just feels well built, especially the handle. It is a bit on the heavy side for a mug but not really a concern for me since I won’t be toting it around. Only real concern I have is with the mug itself in that it’s all metal and should you drop this thing, seems like it would be pretty easy to dent/ding. The bottom of the mug should have a rubber pad or something to minimize this but oh well.Overall, for a mug, I think it’s pretty great. Hopefully this will last a long time and, based on some of the reviews, looks like it’s possible. Hoping this is the only thermal mug I’ll need for quite some time.

Bought one for an elderly lady and myself. Work great, but they are a tad wide making them difficult to hold, especially for my elderly friend. I don’t know if they are spill proof or not; I believe the lid slides open/closed so it may not be. I haven’t turned it upside down. No complains because they do a nice job for the price, and work as well (insulation wise) as Starbucks cups that cost twice as much. They fit in car cup holders well making them nice for travel. The subtle sparkle is pretty in the rose gold/grey silver combo. I would recommend this brand. Even came back for a pair of coffee mugs (same brand).

This is one of the best coffee/ drink mugs I have ever purchased. I like the fact that the lid screws down on the mug and keeps my drink from spilling into my car/equipment and it is cup holder friendly. I use to buy cheap cups that would always spill I don’t have to worry about that with this YETI RAMBLER it keeps drinks hot for a while can’t say for how long because I always drink my coffee before it gets cold. It’s also great for cold drinks as well. I like the sliding lock on top of this mug press the front of the lock and slide back to unlock and slide it forward to lock very simple to use. This YETI mug is easy to clean as well. I bought the green one but it comes in a variety of colors and sizes the 20oz. is the right size for me. If your in the market for a quality mug then YETI is the way to go I highly recommend this mug.

I bought this mug in blue for my husband’s birthday, and I liked his so much that I had to buy my own. We were using Contigo mugs because we preferred the trigger action to keep our coffee from spilling and help hold in the heat. However they were hard to clean since they didn’t come apart in the lid, and the gaskets and trigger would grow mold. This Stanley mug’s trigger twists out for full access to thoroughly clean the lid and trigger. Also, liquids stay hot for hours and hours. I already have had one friend purchase this mug from Amazon after she saw mine.

I’ve had many travel mugs before and never liked them. They leaked, lids to hard to get on, handle in the way for car holder, didn’t keep things hot or cold long, not a good overall feel to expensive. NOT THIS ONE! For me it’s perfect. Perfect design & size, easy to use and clean, keeps my coffee hot and a decent price. I am very happy with this purchase. You will not regret purchasing.

I found my travel mug. Thermal, nice looking, lid with a gasket around the perimeter to keep you from wearing your coffee. It’s also a good shape making it hard to knock over for clumsy people like myself.

Not as leak proof as a yeti, but it’s ok for the price. Just don’t tip it over! Keeps drinks just as cold, just for not as long.
