  1. I don’t know if you are at the same stage I was: I wanted to avoid the potential perils of non-stick coatings and yet felt a little apprehensive about using Stainless Steel. There are some very negative reviews for similar products, along the lines that they don’t cook anything “right” and a jackhammer is required as standard cleaning equipment. You’ll be pleased to know that neither could be further from the truth in my experience using this set (the Cooks Standard Multi-Ply Clad Stainless-Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set). While I don’t deny that a select few may have had a negative experience, I hope this review will put your concerns to rest.I am a first-time Stainless Steel user. I am not a prize-winning chef. I have recently switched to cooking whole-foods from scratch; and I mean recently. So I am not only behind on my cooking skills, but I’ve never used such high-quality equipment before (dollar-store plastic utensils, anyone?). The turning point came when I found little black bits of non-stick coating in my fresh batch of home-made refried beans. Very frustrating. I can’t fault the coating because it was over seven years old. At the first sign of a scratch, non-stick cookware is supposed to be replaced. That’s one reason why I was looking for a long-life, heavy duty cookware set with NO COATINGS TO SCRATCH. I read one study that said the fumes from non-stick coatings at high temperatures have killed birds in a lab. Nice. So I threw my “toxic” refried beans in the trash and let my hubby know I couldn’t cook with the pot anymore. A week later he bought this set for me (at my recommendation)! I guess he likes my refried beans! If you want to use this set proficiently and aren’t used to stainless steel, you’ll have to adjust–not lower–your expectations. It stands to reason that if this cookware is designed differently and made of different materials than the set you are used to, it is going to behave differently. If you want to produce the same results that you’re used to, you’ll have to adjust your cooking methods. It’s actually not hard to do at all. Read the manufacturer’s instructions for cooking and cleaning. Watch a couple videos on the web about how to preheat a pan and how to determine it is at the right temperature for pan-frying, etc. It will only take you ten minutes of watching/reading but it will save you from potential disappointment. If others use these sets with no problems, you can too; you’ll have to be willing to learn and do what they did. It is exciting to learn a new skill! This is the perfect set for that; because the inner core extends all the way to the top of each pan, they heat up evenly, making it difficult to burn food; a good thing for a novice to know! These pans look beautiful. The glass lids from my old set fit the pans perfectly, so now I have two sets of lids; I can use glass lids (from my old set) when I want to keep an eye on things, and stainless steel lids for oven cooking. I smile every time I pull these pans out of the drawer; they gleam at me every day! Who said diamonds are a girls’ best friend? He/she obviously didn’t cook!I’ve used all the pans in the two weeks I’ve had them. I’ve pan-fried battered fish, salmon, scrambled eggs, taco meat, burgers, home-made Italian sausage, hard-boiled eggs, home-made spaghetti sauce, and dosas with no issues. I’ve made cream-of-garlic soup, mashed potatoes, spaghetti, and chicken noodle soup in the stock pot. I’ve used the little pot with the steamer insert for broccoli, green beans, and baby carrots (it’s so nice to have brightly colored vegetables that are hot and still a little crisp). They all work brilliantly! The pans have acquired some mild discoloration on the bottom (caused by use); I have a gas range so they are over an open flame. Bar Keeper’s Friend is supposed to get that off so I’m not worried about it. I try to avoid commercial cleaners as much as I can: I have kept these pans otherwise spotless using a mild castile soap, baking soda for a mild discoloration caused by taco meat, and vinegar for a slight starch residue left by some rice. I haven’t had any cleaning issues: I rinse the pans out with very hot water from the faucet as soon as I am finished with each and hand-wash them later with a dishrag and soap (the only thing I’ve had to scrub was a little residue from scrambled eggs: it came off with little effort). As for sticking: no problems! I make sure to preheat the pan using medium-low heat. I use the preheating time to chop my veggies and prepare side-dishes, so these pans have actually “trained” me to be a better-organized cook. Once the pan is very warm on the edge, I typically reduce the heat to low. That’s the great thing about these pans: I used to cook meals on a 6/7 on my gas range with the cheap non-stick pans: now I cook them on a 2/3! Talk about energy savings! The food is fully cooked but more MOIST! Everything tastes better. I told my stepdaughter not to tell my husband that: he’ll just have to think I am improving dramatically! The handles stay cool: the pans are weighty but not too heavy and are well-balanced. I love using them. I don’t usually post reviews but I was looking forward to reviewing this product. I’ve recommended it to my family and friends. While there are higher-end stainless steel sets out there by other brands, they come with a $500-$1000 price tag. This set really is the best deal (at $163) out there with a much better quality than most cookware sets. I highly recommend this set: I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. It’s a challenge to learn something new, but it has been a very rewarding experience.

  2. We all have some of these: chipped, scratched pots and pans that wobble on a range because of being WARPED. I’ve had enough with my pans and began research on cookeware sets. I will note here that my current cookware is the high end non-stick, with my fry pans being those bought after watching some fool on TV melt candy in a wrapper in the pan and then wiping it clean. (These pans by the way are only 8 months old and are already WARPED). For new cookware, my ONE main requirement was that they were or would be NON-WARPING. The second requirement was that they be non-stick. After some research I settled on the 14 piece of T-Fal non-stick / non-warp set. Item came well packaged and unpacking the items I was impressed with the feel of each piece: not too heavy or light even with a lid. I also noted the non-stick interior surface and the very nice looking anodized exterior. Very nice touch with the vented lids (an actual hole in the glass) and the FULL insulation of the handles. Now I mention this insulation because I have (had) cookware items that had decorative (?) metal ends on the handles that would occasionally get very warm while being used.( Nothing like grabbing a pot or pan handle that want to cook your hand medium rare.) I washed each piece and WITHOUT SEASONING, took the largest frying pan, placed it on the range on MED HEAT (about 5-6 on an electric glass top range) and let it heat up. After 2-3 minutes, I noted that the T-FAL center emblem in the pan really didn’t look like it changed much. I expected it to go from the T-FAL logo to a full red dot. Didn’t happen but it was no biggie as in the past several months I began preheating my fry pans for about 3 minutes due to their warped exterior. Next I added magarine as I was going to cook sunnyside up eggs. I was impressed to note that the margarine melted quickly AND when spread about the pan, little bubbles began to show up over the ENTIRE pan surface. This meant that the pan was heating up evenly. In went the eggs and after placing a lid on the pan I turned away to get something off the counter. Now, with my older warped fry pans I could do this same act, return to the range and begin to slowly rotate the pan to get even heating on the eggs. Not so with this T-Fal fry pan. I noted the whites turning opaque quickly and the yolks getting their whitish color meaning they would be just slightly runny. In short, these eggs came out perfect and in well over 1/2 the time from my old cookware. Even my other half was impressed. Now my next “adventures in cooking” will involve sautéing, making my alfredo sauce, grilling (this set came with a VERY NICE grill pan!) and frying. So far I am following the instructions by keeping the range heat at MED or just a bit more. Noted is that one foray into frying eggs does not provide enough experience with this cookware to turn cartwheels in the kitchen. But so far, with eggs being one of my more difficult items to make because of my other warped pans with uneven heat, this T-Fal pan is impressive. So, my rating of 4 is tentative as I will update this review within a short time after I try other pieces of this set.UPDATE:First this disclaimer: I HAVE NOT and AM NOT an employee of T-Fal or Amazon, and I have NOT been hired to write a raving review. That said, now for the update. I have had this set now for over a month and have used all but one of the pans. The total experience has been incredible. I cook out of self-defense (the other half is banned by the EPA from boiling water) and am pretty fast in the kitchen when I am cooking.- WEIGHT OF PANS: I thought the pans were a bit on the light side until I started using them. Whether it was thought of during design or not, the pans are heavy enough to withstand various cooking requirements but light enough where you don’t break your wrist when lifting.- NON STICK SURFACE: Come on now! Who in their right mind melts plastic spoons or uses an electric beater on their non-stick cookware! I believe surface of this T-Fal would take this abuse with no problem, but I happen to like my food without the taste of plastic. I’ve used nearly all the pans and found them all to be amazingly non-stick as well as sturdy. I still use butter/olive oil when sautéing or frying. I have had nothing stick to the pans nor have any of these pans lost any of their non-stick capability.- HEATING: This is the BEST part of this cookware. If you cook/have cooked with slightly warped cookware, you know the problem with hot heat spots or very little heat at all. Thus, you have to move the pan around a bit to get yours items cooked. Each of the pans in this T-Fal set has VERY even heat distribution. There is a “plate” on the bottom of the pans that distributes the heat evenly. I have found that because of this, I’ve noted shorter cooking times on various items AND I now cook on a lower heat settings NOTE: This T-Fal cookware set will cause you to change how your cook and for how long. The even heat distribution is stunning. ALSO, I do preheat my pans (except for boiling water) and use only wooden or high heat tolerant silicone utensils..- STORAGE OF THE COOKWARE: I don’t stack this cookware. Instead I hang it up. This simply helps prolong the life of my investment.Overall, I am very impressed with this cookware. Even my other half (known for making ANGRY little pellets called hamburgers), has begun to learn that this cookware can even make her a decent cook. And yes, I bit on the late night adverts showing the frying pans melting plastic spoons and candy in wrappers and magically not sticking. I bought 3. Within 90 days they either lost their non-stick capability, began to warp, or both. Some people are gourmet cooks; others have trouble boiling water. This cookware will holdup very well and serve both very well. My motto is that you get what you pay for. And you WILL get more than you’ve paid for this set. I raise my rating to 5 stars and I do recommend as a BUY.

  4. Pro: The materials are quality, sturdy, and the instructions are clear. The unit is well designed but requires some facility with tools to assemble and install and the ability to solve a few minor engineering problems because sliding doors are not particularly standardized and this device is a one-size-fits-all.Cons: 1. It only comes in one color (unless I missed something): white. My sliding door happens to be “Ivory” so I either will have to paint it or live with it.2. The flap is very well made, built like a 3-section double-pane window (apparently for insulation) but doesn’t work for our small dog, a miniature dachshund with a sensitive pointy nose. I suppose it would work better for a heavy or large flat-face hard-headed dog like a bulldog or pit-bull. So I removed the bottom two of the three horizontal segments and taped two vertical light plastic strips with bottom weights in their place. Now the dog scoots in and out through the center. An optional clear single-thickness plastic flap that could be split vertically in the center would be a good product improvement.3. My main beef, no fault of the manufacturer, is that it doesn’t work well on a 6-foot wide door, which has a 3-foot opening, is because after installation you are left with only a 2-foot opening. Fortunately we are not big people but it is an inconvenience, especially if you need to move a large chair or a table in or out. Once installed it can be removed by lifting off its hooks, but this type of unit is more suitable for an 8-foot wide sliding door. Also the sliding screen door has to be closed all the way, blocking the doggie door, or there will be an open space at the free end for bugs. Luckily we don’t have many bugs. Conclusion: This well-made, high quality, reasonably priced device is perfect for a strong, flat-faced hard-headed dog when it’s placed into a white vinyl 8-foot sliding door. When I get time I will replace it with a through-the wall unit..

  5. I’m not one to write many reviews but with this cookware set I felt compelled to share my fantastic experience with this pan set. I am about a month in since receiving the set and I have been thrilled with the results of my cooking every time I use the pans. I chose yellow which looks sharp and the color really pops in my kitchen. The ceramic is well fabricated with no blemishes or nicks. Handles are a nice thickness and seem to be fastened quite well. When guests come over they are always impressed with the overall look and quality of the pans. It’s not just all looks… the quality is superb!Let me stress that I treat and take care of all my cookware very diligently. I am always cognizant of never abusing any cookware like using excessively high heat, scraping with wrong utensils, banging together or leaving in a pile of muck in the sink, etc. I even obtained a set of silicone cooking utensils which are gentle on the ceramic finish. The pans are very sturdy and lay perfectly flat on my glass cooktop. For the density of a ceramic pan they are relatively light and easy to handle unlike a cast iron.Performance is great, just allow a couple of minutes to get the pan to the right heat level. Set on a medium-high to get the pan warmed up then lower/adjust as the ceramic absorbs and maintains the right heat levels. These ceramic pans are similar to cast iron in the respect that you must allow time for the pan to get heated up FIRST. I can’t stand when people just put down a pan, turn on the heat and throw the food in immediately. You must get the pan somewhat hot first so the food begins to sizzle or sear once it hits… and again, NEVER leave any pan on high heat.Cleaning is a breeze. I use a soft nylon brush or even my bare hands with a little dish soap and the pans clean right off and look like new after drying. This set comes with handy storage racks that you can place in your cupboard or shelf so the pans lay on their sides. I was also pleasantly surprised with the pan lid hangers which come with hooks so you can hang the pan lids on the back of a cabinet door. These were terrific storage and space-saving features that were a bonus. This set is a great find for day to day home use and the price range is very reasonable especially for the level of quality and amount of pieces included. I definitely recommend this set for so many reasons!

  7. Se quema el mango es de plástico y cuando está muy caliente se quema

  8. The pans are fine. Not crazy about the lids. They require using a hot pad to remove them from hot pans. Would rather they came with glass lids. The handles are awkward to use, hard to get a good grip when moving a pan loaded with food.

  9. If I’d only had YouTube to assist in my purchase decision, I’d have never bought these pans. Everyone is a critic. Everyone complains the pans aren’t non-stick. It also turns out that none of these people giving the pans terrible reviews seem to have the faintest idea how to cook in the first place. If you dump scrambled eggs into a dry non-stick pan of any make or model, they’re going to stick. And probably burn. Every single YouTube review tries the “egg test” by putting an egg into a hot, dry pan and guess what happens? If you dump frozen ravioli into a dry non-stick pan, they aren’t going to thaw, much less cook, and they’ll have scorch marks. If you try to make fried rice in a non-stick wok but don’t use a drop of oil, the rice is going to stick and burn. If I tune into your HexClad product review and you tell me that you had to go to the store to buy vegetable oil to season the pans because you don’t normally use any in your cooking, I’m going to turn that video right off.So here’s the deal: Are HexClad non-stick pans? Yes. And also no. They are hybrid cookware. But they are unique hybrid cookware unlike any I’ve owned or tried. Must you use some oil in your cooking? 100% yes. It’s actually in the instruction sheet that comes with the pans. Also, it’s proper technique. How else are you going to ensure proper heat transfer to the food? Again, think about what you’re buying here: hybrid cookware. A hybrid of what? A hybrid of non-stick cookware, which, no matter the brand, still will require some kind of oil or fat to be properly non-stick, and of stainless steel cookware, which most definitely requires oil or fat to be non-stick.The bottom line on this whole “they aren’t non-stick” nonsense is that they most certainly are. When you want them to be. When you use proper cooking techniques. Now, how did they work out for me? I’m not a chef. I’m a home cook. But I like to think I’m an above average home cook. Two of my good friends are foodies. One of them actually is a chef. The other is a skilled home cook and recently purchased a set of HexClad, which he really likes. We often cook and eat together.First test, after following the seasoning instructions, was with the 12″ pan. I made sichuan chicken using boneless, skinless chicken thighs. While skeptical at first, I heated the pan on medium low as instructed, thinking no way is this going to be hot enough. With a little oil in the pan once it came up to temperature (within 2 minutes at that), the chicken cooked and even browned. Developed a nice sear on the outside. Beautiful, gorgeous color. And yet, when turning the meat it released from the pan with zero resistance and no residue left stuck on the pan surface. Removing the chicken, I added a tbsp more oil and in went the peppers and onion. Again, a gorgeous result. Nice searing and no sticking. Added the meat back, added sauce, and the same meal I had prepared the night before in my quality non-stick skillet actually looked far more appetizing. And it was delicious. I dare say, even better due to the increased Maillard reaction over standard non-stick pans. Clean up entailed a wet sponge and a gentle wipe and rinse and it was clean. Nothing stuck. No discoloration. Soap and water finish. After enjoying my meal, I just had to know if the pans were going to pass the test that would make them a keeper for me: the French Omelette test. So I heated up the 10″ pan, scrambled and seasoned three eggs, and threw a knob of butter into the pan. Medium low heat was plenty enough to get the job done. I worked quickly, keeping the eggs moving to avoid forming large curds. Once nearly set, I began rolling. The egg came away from the pan without a single stick, and without even the need to add more butter to release it as I would in my regular non-stick pans. Perfect, soft, yellow (not browned), creamy French Omelette. Clean up was a non-event. Aside from a bit of butter there wasn’t anything for the soap, water, and sponge to remove. This test sealed the deal for me.I have other decent pans: All-Clad D3 12″ and 10″ pans, and three non-stick Oxo 8″, 10″, and 12″ pans (top rated by America’s Test Kitchen). The All-Clads can work okay, but they were mostly a disappointment. They take too long to heat up, the heat dissipates quickly when food is added, and they have cold spots around the outside where there isn’t direct flame. The Oxo pans are actually pretty great, but they have rubber handles which can’t go into the oven, and even medium heat just isn’t hot enough. Not the pan’s fault, but you’ll never get a sear on a non-stick surface. My goal here was to have ONE set of pans that could get proper searing, could be used in the oven, and still have non-stick properties. I have achieved that goal with the HexClad pans. My All-Clad and Oxo pans will be gifted to someone. I have no need for them anymore.Handles: Nice, fat handles on the HexClad that don’t turn in your hands or get hot. The worst thing about the All-Clad D3’s are the handles. I have nearly dumped the contents of both pans when tossing as the handles rotated in my palm. They are the absolute worst. I absolutely LOVE the HexClad handles.Lids: Every HexClad pan came with a nice, glass lid that fits perfectly, and has a steam vent. All-Clad? Because my D3 set didn’t come with lids initially, All-Clad doesn’t and won’t sell them separately. I called All-Clad when I got them and asked if they’d sell me some lids and they basically told me to go pound sand. They were actually rude and dismissive.Heat distribution: As mentioned, the All-Clad D3’s didn’t evenly distribute the heat to the outsides of the pan surface that weren’t directly over flame, nor did they keep the heat when food was added. Even cranking the flame up to high was never enough to get a good sear. Not so with the HexClad. I was sure that the warning to not heat them above medium had something to do with the non-stick surface (and it might), but it’s just not necessary to go any higher. The outsides of the pan are just as hot as the middle and they sear so well, keeping their heat even as food is added. They perform almost like carbon steel or cast iron in this regard.Non-stick: Covered this, but it bears repeating that these actually are non-stick when used properly.Appearance: They’re gorgeous, aren’t they? My friend’s set has no discoloration after several months of daily, hard use, and he’s never had to use Barkeeper’s Friend or any scouring. They are absolutely stunning under the LED cook lights of my hood. Prettier by far than the All-Clad.I’ve ordered the 2, 3, and 8 QT pot set, which arrives tomorrow, and expect to be equally happy if these pans are any indication. I also have a 10″ wok arriving next week for my near daily stir fries. At some point, I may also add a 1 QT pot and 7 QT deep saute. The bottom line is that these pans aren’t going to miraculously make you cook better. But they WILL reward good technique with superior results. I was skeptical coming into this that I wouldn’t like them nearly as much as what I already had but any hesitation is gone. The hype is real with this tech.

  10. This is a very expensive set of cookware. It is a joy to cook with and a breeze to clean. However, this set arrived with 12” lid that was totally out of round. The metal rim could not fit onto the 8 qt pot. Clearly a manufacturing defect. When I called All Clad for a replacement they basically told me to Piss up a Rope! They said that they couldn’t replace the lid because I used it. I let them know that I couldn’t use it because it didn’t fit, but they refused to budge. All Clad SUCKS! Thank god for amazon customer service! They have given me the customer service that All Clad refuses to.

  11. These pans are better than the $300 pans. So far they are so much better on performance, and they aren’t falling apart like some of the popular name brands. They do tend to heat more in the middle which i can deal with but they aren’t pealing. Very easy to clean. And I got them in perfect condition and on time. Pack very well. And the shipper took care with the delivery. The variety of pans is very important to me. Because I use more pots than pans. I use them all! Great variety of sizes. Now a days you get a bunch of crap, but not these. Thank you for such a great product my wife is happy with them. Oh more importantly they are light weight and easy for old people with weak hands and arms to work with. Major plus their. The handles are easy to handle. The lids need to fit a little better though, they don’t fit tight or close all the way. Their is a little gap in them. Other than that she makes more meals with these. Happy to cook with them. 😉

  12. Needed new pots and pans for our new induction stove. We wanted something solid and these have been amazing. We are looking for additional pieces because we like them so much

  13. We have used ceramic pans for many years, being one of the earliest families to buy and use ceramic cookware, so we have far more experience than most. The problem with all the other ceramic cookware that we used is that they were sticky. Of course the reason we purchased ceramic pans was to get away from the problems with teflon (the PFOA chemicals that the early ones used is unhealthy, then when manufacturers eliminated the PFOA related chemicals, the surface was not truly non-stick or did not stay non-stick, plus the teflon coatings wear out too quickly, peeling and flaking which then leave you with a sticky pan), so having a ceramic pan get sticky so quickly is a huge disappointment. We found that the first ceramic pans (from a competitor) we used from Germany were well built, as expected but the surface would get sticky and could not be cleaned no matter how many times we tried and no matter how many times we spoke with the company headquarters. We did try the other brands and found that the only one that had a slick surface was so poorly made that they would not properly on the glass surface of our stove, so we stopped using those because we thought it was risky. Finally we found these GreenLife pans which solved all the problems, they have truly slick surfaces that work well, they clean up super easily, they are lightweight (we have owned the super thick, expensive, stainless steel pans which are sturdy and last for decades but their heavy weight was becoming a chore to retrieve them fro the lower cabinets, they are difficult to clean and of course the have sticking problems far too often (which is why we switched), the handles are cool and have a lovely smooth feel to them yet provide a secure grip that i every reassuring. The lids are glass, which we love (we never liked the stainless steel lids because you cannot see what is happening in your pans), they fit well (we are so tired of poorly fitting lids that these are a joy) so you seal in the steam (which is our favorite technique, cooking with the lid saves time and energy).Of course we like that they are all aluminum, the heat up many times faster than all our old pans so we can get to cooking quickly and we do use lower heat settings so we cook faster and save money because we use lower stove settings.Of course we love the colors especially since the set we purchased matches our decor perfectly, the other colors are obviously selected to be excellent shades for kitchen decor.Overall we give this set an excellent rating and have recommended them to all our family and friends (especially at this price, they are a fantastic deal).

  14. I wanted to switch out my old pots and pans for non-toxic healthier ones and after tons of research these were the winners. They look beautiful, they heat up very well and the clean up is easy as long as you clean it right after use. Just be cautious that you only used approved utensils with it, as it will scratch the coating.

  15. I have true non-stick ceramic pans that out-perform on the non-stick front but these will outperform on the scratch resistant front. I bought the 8 inch as a trial run and have been somewhat underwhelmed so far. I seasoned the pan as instructed then cooked a boneless chicken breast to try it out. The pan put a nice seer on both sides of the chicken then I covered it and reduced to low heat for the last 5 min or so. I was surprised at how discolored the top edge of the pan had become after just one use. I washed it but the staining was impossible to remove which is ok – it’s just a pan – but I was surprised by that. Out of the box this thing was beautiful but after one use – yikes. I also cook on a 10 inch all clad stainless steel pan as well as cast iron and have take extra care if I am going to cook something that would require a non-stick surface. These are all good for searing but this hex clad in particular might not make a great every day egg pan. I’ll keep at it with this one because I do like the pan – I’ll just have to fine tune my approach to making it more non-stick user friendly. I’m confident I can make it work.

  16. Throughout the years, my family and I have acquired a variety of non-stick cookware, but none of them have been able to withstand the test of time. That’s why I decided to conduct extensive research to find the perfect set for us. Eventually, I came across this brand and I decided to give it a try.The cookware arrived in pristine condition, and even came with green felt pads to protect them from being damaged. By reading the reviews, I know some people had issues with their set being scratched or dented, but luckily, I did not have this problem. It heats up quickly and evenly, and you don’t need to use any sprays. It is also very easy to clean once it has cooled off. Additionally, the lids fit all the pots and pans in the set, which is a great bonus. As of now, I am very pleased with the product, but I cannot comment on how metal utensils may affect the non-stick coating as I use silicone utensils. The jury is still out on how long they last but I will be sure to update my review down the road!

  17. Pros: Skillet is just the right size to cook for one or two and has a nice heft to it while not being too heavy to easily wash. The lid fits securely on top and has an easy to grasp handle. Con: You have to attach ( by screwing ) the handles to skillet and top.

  18. Wow is all I have to say, well not all I have to say but “wow” these exceeded my expectations! I wanted to wait until I actually cooked with these pans before I made a review. They are great pans. I got them when they were on sale but I would have paid full price for these. They are very nice! The nicest set I’ve ever had in my 47 years! They did not get discolored at all when I cooked with them. Not inside or out. The bottom outside stayed just as nice as the inside. They did not burn at all and I cooked on high with them. Boiling water and pasta and cooked and fried chicken and they stood up wonderfully. And as far as cleaning them, I could have just used hot water! They good did not stick at all! I even burned some rice and it slid right out! One thing I did notice though is that they will scratch VERY easy! I used the spatula that was given with the set and it’s a nice spatula but I noticed it did leave marks, not really scratches but marks that didn’t come off. I will try again to remove them but I will never use any metal or even hard plastic utensils! I am ordering some new ones to use so they don’t get ruined. Anyways it was worth the money for these. I had my eye on them for a long time and finally got them for my daughter. Luckily I live with her so I get to use them also haha!

  19. At the time of purchase, the 13 piece NESTING set was not available on Amazon. 🙁 I spent extra $ to complete the set. Thank god for Christmas sales, I broke even completing the set. The 3.5 quart pan, and extra pans are a must for me.Items are heavy duty, and very thick! AS THICK AS CAPHALON.The bottom plate allow the cookware to get very hot. I get a rolling boil in these pots that I don’t get on other Teflon cookware. long term cooking for a single meal may require you to turn the heat down.Stacking works pretty well. I’d recommend felt liners as extra protection. stacking lids are good.Dishwasher safe. very nice. Items clean well, no apparent stains or metal tarnishing.Lid handles can get hot. be careful. If hand washing, soap suds may get under handles. rinse thoroughly.Stream vent would be nice.Teflon coating seems thick, sand like texture, works great. Time will determine durability.Oven tested at 450 worked well, no apparent issues.4/4.5 out of 5

  20. Appropriately heavy, amazingly non-stick, hold heat! My new favorite pans.
