Picked this up for our LO on the recommendation of our daycare provider. She actually recommended a different variety, but I liked the additional ingredients for immune support, etc. It helped her a lot and she took it well enough with a medicine syringe like other children’s medications. She has fought it some when her nose isn’t so stuffy. So, I suspect the flavor isn’t a total delight, which is why the syringe usually works better for us. But, sometimes we’ll get push back on one delivery form and she’ll accept another, like a cup. Toddlers, man… Definitely reduced the misery of her colds and coughs. Heck, I even picked up the adult version for myself (but that’s a different review). Do note that this is a natural product that contains honey, so it is not safe for children under 1 yr. I believe there is an infant version without honey. Anyway. Love the stuff and we now make sure to have a bottle in the house at all times. I can’t recommend it enough. Two tiny thumbs up.

Mucinex might seem a little pricy but well worth it

I have a 2 1/2 year old and she had a cold. She stayed mucousy for weeks after and I couldn’t get her to blow her nose or sit still for me to suck it out with those pump things. I diligently gave her this syrup for a whole day (every 4/6 hours) and literally 15/20 mins after each dose her stuffy nose would start running. This is a great way to help little ones clear out that persistent mucous.

The product works very well. This is liquid in a plastic bottle. Amazon sent it in a paper envelope with nothing on the outside letting anyone know it was liquid. Highly recommend the product but not through Amazon

Please! Consider bringing back the coated tablets by this brand! I have to take these daily and the taste is awful and the tablets are difficult to swallow. I purchased the same brand but with coated tablets in the past but now they cannot be found. I’m begging!

This stuff is absolutely amazing! My 3yr old has had a cough for weeks and nothing was working. We could tell it was a mucus issue. We use the Zarbees melatonin for her when she needs it so we thought it would be a good idea to try their brand of cough meds for her too. Worked like a charm. Her cough was gone the next day!I do recommend giving 1 or 2 half doses to start if your little one struggles with taking new meds, so they can adjust to the new flavor as it certainly is different than other meds out there.

Works great for when my son is sick. I do double up with this and the traditional medications since this does not have medicine in it. Great way to add an extra boost in smoothies. Down side is my kid hates the taste which is weird because he loves the taste of conventional medicine. It tastes like cinnamon and oranges to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

I say that having asthma, bronchitis, and sinusitis for most of my life. I was skeptical of having to take it every 4 hours. at first but it has been a game changer as it basically encourages you to drink more fluids. The first day was the hardest because I took the last one around 10pm and woke up coughing around 3am but I took a dose with a glass of water and could sleep through the night. The next morning my cough was less severe and mucus came up easily. I started the morning with a hot cup of tea, followed by my first dose and a glass of water with the same routine before I go to bed.
