These hooks are good for a look a like Clover hook, I bought these hoping they would be something like Clover hooks and they are a good faux hook. The only problem I have with them is the handle was of course melded and where it came out of the mold it left a point of plastic, I took a file and filed it down smooth now they feel good in my hand. I would recommend this set of hooks to anybody but definitely for someone who is a beginner and wants a good hook but not spend a lot of money. The Clover hooks a definitely better hooks and are the best hooks I have and I have several brands. Good luck to anyone who would like to try these I think you would like these.

Over a year ago, I became homeless and had to leave all of my crafting supplies behind. Over the months, I built up a new collection of yarns, but I didn’t bother with the actual useful supplies beyond the bare necessities. I’m talking, one or two crochet hooks and no stitch markers and no needles. So when I saw this “kit” for a relatively low price, I just had to try it out.This seems like it would be perfect as a gift for new crocheters, trying to find their way through the hobby. I wouldn’t suggest giving this to an experienced hobbyist, though, because everyone has their own specific wants and needs in regards to hook style and such. So fathers and husbands (and mothers and wives, I have no idea why I’m reinforcing those stereotypes as a male crotcheter myself), please heed my words. This is for beginners. But it is damn good at that.When I first inspected the hooks, I was a bit disappointed to see the black inked printing on the bottom to mark the sizes. That was an immediate issue, because as many of you know that rubs off very quickly and then the hook size is a mystery. However, that’s not a problem here! The other side of the hooks has it in a much more durable engraving.The colors seem nice, and the hooks are very fine to hold. I appreciate that the metal goes all the way down, because that makes it much less likely for the hook to fall apart, which is usual for these kinds. If it does fall out, a smidge of super glue will easily fix that, no problem.So far as the range of sizes, I’d say it’s suitable. I don’t personally use 10mm’s or 2mm’s, but they’re extremely useful to have around in case they become necessary. The smaller sizes, for me at least, are when the ergonomics become especially important. These handles are relatively thick while still being thin enough to not infringe on delicate work.Finally, so far as the bits and bobbles. They’re great. The yarn snippers seem sharp and fit for use on many different weights of yarn. Boy, you should hear them click. The needles have many different sizes and thicknesses, making for an easy time with whatever gauge you made your piece in. Even before I lost everything, I had just struggled through with one size, which definitely hurt my fingers more than necessary. The stitch markers are standard, bright enough to be seen and thin enough to not ruin your stitches. 10 may not be enough if you have 11 projects going on at once, but they’re definitely a welcome addition and useful start. I hadn’t even noticed the pouch when I bought this, but it seems useful. I don’t particularly love the design, but it fits things well and the zipper is strong. Plus the zipper is cute.All in all, I am excited to use these and am glad I made this purchase.

Comfortable and seems to slide well with all yarn/ tupes

First, I’d like to say the case shown does not come with the hooks, I bought that on my own. The hooks themselves have a similar head to the clover hooks, but the clover hooks are still smoother. However, for the price this set is good. I’m taking off a star because both the size 2.25 mm and 2.75mm are the same size and when I took the hook out the casing it said “2.00 mm”. So, if you’re using size B and C a lot, I would recommend either getting another set or buying them individually from clover brand, as the quality of clover brand is far superior to any brand I’ve ever used. However, if you’re on a budget and you’re not working with super fine yarn, the rest of the hooks are perfectly fine and you can definitely get good use out of them.

These are great hooks. They aren’t any different from the ones that the craft stores sell for much more money. I am very pleased with the variety. You do have to be careful with the stitch markers… I already broke one, but they’re the same plastic pretty much everywhere so I wouldn’t say it’s this product that’s defective. Overall I am pleased with my purchase

I purchased this for my daughter who just started to have interest in crocheting and she wanted a set to do different projects and different techniques. Found this and she loves it especially the carrying case. It makes it easier to stay organize and know what size everything is.

These are great hooks at a great price if you don’t mind they don’t have comfort grips. I find it hard to do Amigurumi with them as the tension needs to be super tight and they hurt my hands, but regular crochet items are no problem with these. the stitch markers are just a bonus.

I like the quality of the handle and strong yarn holding hook on each needle. The Rubber handle is comfortable and easy fit to hands. The design is made to fit and keep hands comfortable while crafting. The price for the whole set of hooks and the stitch makers is awesome and more than competitive. I like the availability of a variety of products thru Amazon. Many choices, pricing and quality. I recommend this brand and type of crochet crafters tools.

My first and only set, and I use them all the time

I have been trying to find more ergonomic hooks than those I already had and had heard wonderful things about Clover Amour. In the past I had purchased 1larger hook and was not a fan. I decided to give them another try and especially with the set on sale. I LOVE THEM. I have been a in-line hook user since the beginning but these have been so good I don’t even miss using those hooks. They are definitely worth the price.

These hooks were definitely as advertised.My daughter has carpel tunnel syndrome and could only use her crochet hook for a limited amount of time.These hooks gave her a lot of relief and allowed her to work longer.

Was apprehensive about ordering after reading some reviews concerning counterfeit product, but was relieved to see that THESE ARE REAL Clover hooks. If you’re concerned, just do your research on how to tell the authentic ones from counterfeit ones before ordering! (Don’t post it here because we don’t want the counterfeit sellers/manufacturers to see what we’re looking for and then change their fake design to be harder to tell apart!)

I’ve tried a pretty wide variety of crochet hooks including plastic, ergonomic, brushed metal, wood. And to me these are by far the easiest ones to use. They are polished aluminum (I believe) so the yarn slides easily on the hook. I don’t have an issue with needing a so-called ergonomic hook, although I’ve tried them. The last ones I purchased had a rubberized handle, but the metal shaft of the hook wasn’t very long which made using them uncomfortable to me, plus the hook portion wasn’t rounded enough to it would stick on the yarn. I haven’t experienced a single issue with these hooks. Plus I love that each one is a different color making them easier to identify. And the size itself is extremely easy to read on the handle, it’s actually raised metal so it won’t wear off even after years of use. Love these!!

When I saw all the hype about this brand I was so curious to see the difference. When they arrived I thought they didn’t look much different from the ones I was currently using that only cost $10. The fact that they were 44% off was a huge incentive for me to try them. So glad I did because the yarn slides like butter with these and I can go so much faster when working on projects. Buy this set!!!! You will not regret it!!! Great product!!!! Trust me you will see the difference.

I’m learning Tunisian crochet and these are a great starter set. I did have to sand some rough edges but no big deal

I recently started crocheting and I started with metal hooks that would really hurt my thumb and wrist. I upgraded to these and have found my pain to be tremendously lessened. I have bad wrists in general so I paired these with a compression glove and lots of breaks and the pain has mostly gone away. These are very sturdy and most types of yarn do not get stuck or anything.

I’ve actually purchased 2 of these sets. One for myself and one as a back up in case I lose one. that’s how much I like them. They are really comfortable to use. They are marked clearly on all the ends the size. These do tend to rub off. They are imprinted as well. It’s a little hard to see since the imprint is the same color as the handle. I’ve been using these hooks for a few years now. No issues beside a little fading on the printed size.

A wide range of sizes, I prefer using metal than plastic or wood and these are strong. The measurements are stamped into the metal so you don’t have to worry about it fading. Great for the price too!
