This was the highlight of my daughter’s Christmas presents from Santa. She just turned 3 and is about 36.5 inches tall. She needs a stool to reach the top floor and we need to move the pool to the side.After much searching we gave her 3 Barbie Chelsea Club dolls to go with it – (Barbie’s little sister) they are a great size. One came with a pull out/ trundle bed for sleepovers and it fits perfectly either in the bedroom next to the larger bed, or in the office by the desk. All 3 can sit together on the large bed and “talk”. The accessories that come with this house are for up to a 12-inch (eg Barbie) doll. Chelsea Club dolls are 6-inches tall.The pictures don’t do it justice! It is thoughtfully designed—looks upscale, spacious. I looked at so many dollhouses and the accessories – even the furniture is cool. Nothing incongruous or frumpy about this pad!Pool is a nice proportionately appropriate size.Some reviews are now dated. The batteries came installed with a plastic cover so no leaking.There were no stickers to affix.No guess work with the colored vs non colored screw tops.Comments: Everything arrived intact. Product looks high quality and is sturdy. There was very minor damage to the front panel to the pool area – of all places. Then I ever so lightly over tightened —the front panel of the patio cracked ever so slightly. I will seek replacements.The assembly pictures/ instructions were at times frustrating but adequate. I actually used a magnifying glass a couple times. These could be improved but probably not w out adding either more stickers (up down front back) or elaborate messy drawings in the manual. PRO TIP 😉 When assembling refer to a picture of the house, I used the one here on Amazon to determine orientation if panels.There were a couple points where it would have been nice for a second person to hold pieces in place while I screwed.You want to have a large high quality sturdy Philips head screwdriver to work fast.I have (1) screw at the front right of the house that spins and wont tighten. It’s at a key part of the frame so I want to address that, but it’s not an emergency.The floor to the office arrived a little warped. I tried to bend it flat but it is not flush with the surrounding paint/ baseboard.To start, I placed each piece in order.Allow enough space on a flat surface to assemble because it’s big!Just 2 number stickers were missing, this caused some delays. I think the patio lamp was (2) and the sticker was missing…took me a while to figure that out since there are ~80 pieces.Even with referring to an image I put on 2 parts in the wrong orientation, realized right away and fixed.My main frustrations were the elevator and the patio. You think you re in the homestretch well the patio is quite elaborate.Allow yourself enough time – it’s a lot of steps. For the furniture just look at a picture.I was annoyed piano doesnt snap to stand but it has its advantage as a portable keyboard. It plays 1 note sequence.The outdoor lights turns on but shuts off automatically.Toilet can make a flushing sound. There is s toilet lid but no seat.Our desk arrived with no drawers.My daughter thinks the house is perfect. Played with it all day. I can tell it is going to provide lots of entertainment.I was concerned buying such a grown up home for my toddler — but she thinks it’s beautiful and very “life-like” and “the girls” love it.I was a bit upset there is a moped parked along the side. But there is also a beautiful water fountain along the terrace side.My daughter also has a Kidcraft mini playground, sandbox cabana and corner kitchen so we are loyal to the brand. I jokingly say it always galls me to put their “logo” on the item I have been toiling over for hours. The swingset was actually really hard to put together with 2 of us… but they make attractive, high quality products for children.Buy it, you won’t regret it. What made me buy it too was all the ecstatic reviews by parents whose kids loved this house. It is suitable for a range of ages…Our (Fisher Price) Little People have moved out of their little house and are also hanging out in the new dollhouse.Given that my daughter loves this, excellent value for the money. I got it for less on Amazon and it sold out online ahead of Christmas.

This is a highly detailed paper kit and much smaller than I anticipated. Everything is laser cut and the papers are excellent quality so it’s easy take out pieces with an exacto knife. The papers are pre-scored for folding as well. The instructions are easy to understand but at times are confusing so read them carefully. Pay attention to the diagrams as my piano ended up the wrong way and I accidentally made two legs instead of four for the bench. I would get a decent glue with a small tip and tweezers to work with the papers. Totally worth the purchase even if mine ended up in the trash. I should probably buy it again as it’s such a beautiful kit and it broke my heart to mess up such a detailed piano.

I stressed out when I opened the package, thought “Oh Jeeze, what I’d get myself into?” Never made one before. But it was very cathartic to work on it and I was very proud of the finished product.I made various changes to the room from the original design.* I painted the walls and floors the colors I wanted.* I laid down a different floor, basic peel and stick paper (Dollar Tree).* I put my own family pictures on the walls.* I glued “everything” down, even the floor, so whenever moving it, nothing would fall out.* I put the battery on the outside, in the back. Otherwise how are you expected to get to it and change the battery? You’d have to take apart the floor, and risk everything falling out. Hence the gluing.The hardest part to make was the Chandelier. That wiring was difficult!! One of the bulbs was not working, emailed the company and they sent me more at no cost.I want to make more!!! Love these!

This set was the most challenging one I’ve made to-date, and my first diarama. I made one of Rolife’s book nooks before this and I can confirm the diarama felt more difficult. The tile on the floor is actually broken across 2 pieces of paper and I’m pleased to report that they match up to each other perfectly.Pros:- This kit gives you tons of extra paper cutouts, a few wooden pieces, and a decent amount of wire. You can easily add extra decorations. They give you so many flowers that you can have multiple spread across your bar for extra pizazz!- They provide you extra wire wrapping so you can hide your wires in it to look like a drainage pipe down the back of the building.- You also get extra fabric, which I used to create a roof over the main part of the bar!- It’s challenging in a way that makes you want to keep going.- The colorful paper parts for flowers, grass, etc. have a lot of colored bits for you to cut out more shapes if you so desire.Cons:- The wiring was the most frustrating part for me. The lighting wire is the smallest wire I’ve ever seen; it’s practically sewing thread. You are required to take the plastic off of this wire many times and it’s extremely easy to cut through it completely. Take special care with these steps!- While there are a few guidelines on some pieces, a lot of the parts don’t show you specifics. It’s easy to glue down the “foundational” parts and realize that it’s not a perfect fit or is crooked. Take care to support your parts as they dry to keep them as straight as possible!- Read ahead. Study where the finished part will go, and how everything is oriented in the pictures. It’s very easy to get lost!- The instruction pictures were very small and non-descriptive. You’ll have a hard time trying to tell if a part is “upside down” or even the correct part at all. They give you a large paper map to lay your parts on, but I didn’t understand this at first.-You could consider some instruction steps to be completely missing, such as “cut the plastic for the green roof from the LIGHT MUSIC BAR plastic sheet.” Again, read ahead many pages before beginning the current step you’re on. You’ll miss details like this. You have to use context clues!- I was missing champagne wire. Luckily they give you quite a few spare parts so I was able to makeshift my own barstools.- You DO paint in this kit, though luckily it only requires you to paint things full colors; no shading necessary.- This kit contains both thick and thin wood; the thin pieces are so thin that I broke roughly half the pieces as I got them out of the cutout molds. You can glue them together, but…- The wood “splinters”. It’s common for a little square of wood to remain behind on the cutout mold while the rest of the piece breaks out properly. You have to glue those little bits of wood back onto the pieces. Hopefully all these “splinters” happen on the same side for you so that you can turn the piece over and use the good side for the exterior.- The kit doesn’t give you all the tools you need. You will need wire cutters/benders, a ruler for measurements, etc. It DOES come with glue, tweezers, and sand paper.- Look at the box photo. Every wire piece you see (chairs, guitar strings, sign flair, straws, bar dispenser, greenhouse roof, etc.) is something you have to shape yourself. Be prepared for this step!- There is no covering for the hole in the bottom of the diarama where your battery box goes. There is also no small compartment for it; instead, you just shove the battery box into the hole and it slides around in there. If you pick up your diarama, the battery box can just fall out and dangle. It’s also a little more inconvenient to turn the lights on/off than other kits I’ve put together.

Be prepared to craft every tiny little thing in this miniature set, from weaving tiny baskets out of pieces of string to delicately crafting teeny tiny flowers to go in the baskets. I bought this for my mom for Christmas thinking she could use a little crafting project and she’s always been into miniatures. It was too intricate for her, but my sister and I enjoy working on it together whenever we visit.

DiY Library. Very cute. A lot of different pieces. You don’t have to build all the furniture. It’s actually whatever you want to build. If you build all the furniture it is a packed room and you have to build more books to fill all of the shelves. There are several different ways to set this up. I wish I would have known this in the beginning. My husband helped build alot of these pieces for me. The books are basically little square pieces of wood various sizes and you cut and glue the paper templates on them. I actually had scrap pieces of material that I made some covers out of and used some extra jewelry and button pieces to make accent pieces on the books. I also used spray paint for the walls and the floor. You can completely customize this to however you like. This is a perfect rainy day project and I absolutely adore this piece. It is very time consuming and tedious, but once you finish, it’s well worth it.

Finally came in & it’s HUGE …I’ll update you guys on the assembling part . Waiting to give to my niece for Christmas !

Very well designed and created. Furniture that was included already assembled and all edges smooth and finished- was great to have those for her to use right away while the house was built. So many rooms and places to play- true to description is 4 feet high and all levels are usable play spaces. Well worth the price- good value.I expect there’ll be years of play with this home.

So it’s so cute. My dad bought it for my daughter. Has tons of furniture and room. BUT it took me 4 hours to put together. It was like IKEA furniture on steroids. I started questioning all my life decisions. Can I return this? Is it too much put together for me to send it back? I even wondered if I really liked children? Is this worth it? Should I run away and never look back?Anyways 4 + hours later once it was finished my daughter was in love and has been playing with it nonstop since. So I guess it was worth it. The top nursery room is too tall for 2 year old just FYI.
