How To Buy The Best Frigidaire Refrigerator In 2022
A refrigerator is a kitchen appliance you just can’t do without. A high-quality one, such as those from Frigidaire, ensures your food stays fresher longer so you can reduce waste and save on your grocery bill. There are many different types and styles of Frigidaire refrigerators to choose from.
When you’re trying to decide what’s right for you, first consider the amount of space you have in your kitchen. Where in the kitchen will the Frigidaire refrigerator work best? Take a look for an existing waterline which you’ll need if the fridge you’re planning on getting has an ice dispenser or water dispenser.
Consider how much room you need for the fridge doors to open, and whether there is anything in the way, such as an island counter, kitchen cabinet or door. Carefully measure the whole space for your Frigidaire refrigerator, including the height, width and depth. Decide if you want a Frigidaire refrigerator that is the same depth as your kitchen counter, or if you want one that is slightly deeper. A standard depth fridge is deeper than the regular kitchen cabinets, but you get a lot more storage room. A Frigidaire refrigerator that is counter depth provides a more custom finished and sleek look.
The Frigidaire Refrigerator Tips and Advice
Carefully consider the best layout of the Frigidaire refrigerator for your family. Do you want the freezer at the bottom, top or on the side? Do you like the single-door look or the double French doors? Keep in mind that single doors will be wider and will require more clearance to open, while French doors will require less clearance but on both sides.
With Frigidaire refrigerators, you can select which finish works best for your kitchen’s aesthetic. Their popular Smudge-Proof Stainless Steel finish is easy to clean and doesn’t get covered in fingerprints anytime someone touches the fridge.
How big do you need your Frigidaire refrigerator to be? A good rule to follow is to get four to six cubic feet of fridge space for every person in your home. So if you have a family of four, you’ll need at least a fridge that is 20 cubic feet. Having a little extra room is always helpful. Keep in mind that a bigger fridge will result in a bigger energy bill.
Special features make storing your groceries that much more effective. Look for flexible storage that you can move or remove if you need to store large items. Decide whether an ice or water dispenser is a must for your family. Sectioned climate control helps you keep your food at its optimal temperature.

My wife and I both like the frig and it’s layout. The only issue I have is the hinges. They cause the rear edge of the door (near the hinge) to swing out paste the edge of the frig actually making it wider the the frig itself when the door is only open a quarter of the way. The frig this one replaced was also a french door counter depth but you could open the doors straight open before they actually got wider than the body of the frig. Not a huge deal but not ideal either. Just something you should be aware of. Other than that it’s working good (only a couple weeks old though).
We have only had this fridge for a few months and the freezer is no longer working. The seal on the freezer and fridge part are weak to say the least. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I’d say spend a little more $$ and get a different fridge
I like the size of the unit overall. It fits nicely in the standard space allotted for refrigerators in cabinetry. There are only two in the family so the space inside, although very adequate, is not as much a factor as it would be for a larger family. The downside for us is that the water and ice compartment (the outside dispenser)is not tall enough. That makes it a constant cleanup after dispensing ice because you can’t get a glass squarely under the lever.
Very nice but first one we received was damaged nere the compressor but packages not damaged . They were very quick to respond and correct issue but next one was slightly damaged as well with no damage on the packaging. Keep it because it was little and on back. I don’t think it will effect the production function. But just remember that you will probably be getting something with miner damage. buy the warranty its very worth it. And if anything actually goes wrong you will be able to warranty it out worst case but all in all good product.
Beautiful!! However, one day it is so warm the bread molds the next everything is frozen solid!!! I have lost so many vegetables and fruits!! Can anyone help??!! The book has not been helpful!!
A good buy, am satisfied. Bought the extended warranty just in case, but no reason to believe it will fail. Recommended.
We bought this model fridge from another online store just as the lock down started. By the time it arrived we were grateful to have a fridge. But the rail to the bottom shelf broke with two 2L soda bottles. Chopstick wouldn’t keep it on. Now the rail to the middle shelf falls off spilling again everything on the floor. It may be the pedestal adjustments in the base, but the freezer and fridge doors occasionally don’t fully close making a thaw in the freezer.
I love the fact that is about the perfect L-Medium size for almost any kitchen I would say, very spacious inside, stainless front only which is perfect, it does a small noise rarely noticed, but almost all refrigerators do that. lots of surprising features inside and it cools beautifully!
A generic Frigidaire refrigerator. No name tag on door and digital panel doesn’t light up until the buttons are pressed. Stainless steel is grayish and plastic covering is extremely hard to remove. Otherwise it works so far very well.Same model number seen at Nebraska Furniture has a different panel and Frigidaire is displayed on the door.Although the price difference was approximately a $600 savings.
Overall it’s a good fridge. However, this heatwave has us demanding cold water! Unfortunately the water is dispensed at room temperature, requiring that ice be added. Our family of 6 has run out of ice a few times.
It is good. I’ve had a minifridge before, and I could store a lot of pre-meal containers in it. Although theoretically they have the same interior size in “cu” the way this one is set does not allow me to size two containers side by side on the top shelf because of the light nor does it allow me to top two containers on the middle shelf because of the poor adjustability. The door can storage is alright, but if you do put cans in there you do lose a lot of storage space on the shelves. The same for the 2l bottle storage compartment. If you put something toward the back of the shelves, it will freeze. The freezer is good. It is very stylish, and I was very lucky for getting one with not one single dent or visual imperfection. The handles are not metal, but they do the job pretty well. The bottle opener can be very useful. I do think it is very noisy and initially I thought about returning it because of it, but I eventually got used to it, especially after I bought that an air purifier that does have a more soothing sound that kinda soothes this minifridge one, but I had to train myself to it for a while. All things considered, it did require a lot of workaround to accommodate my lifestyle and intentions for it, but it is working out ok.
I prayed I’d receive mine undamaged! It was packed really good with upgraded outside box. Took a while to unpack. Happy there! I didn’t want to fill this out until I had it up and running. I let mine sit for 5 hours before plugging in. It is working great. Extremely quiet, i place my hand on it to see if it’s running. 😄 I’m loving it. It really is a perfect size for a single person. The only thing I will do is make an open platform for it to sit on as I keep running over my toes when I open it. 😁 if you order, I hope you like it as much as me.
Purchased the Frigidaire FFHB2750TS 36 Inch French Door Refrigerator with 26.8 cu. ft in January of 2022 but could not install due to setbacks with supply chain issues with our kitchen remodel until July of 2022. The Fridge works GREAT, but I am unable to read the panel to dispense water, ice, and see the controls. Talked and chatted with customer service and they were unable to help stating that since everything was working great that this issue does not qualify for a warranty repair since I did not report this within the required 6 month period. I explained due to supply chain issues my kitchen remodel kept getting pushed back and was unable to install refrigerator until July. Frigidaire customer service was unwilling to make an exception and basically told me I had to live with it this way, even though I mentioned that it was a manufactures defect and if they looked at the picture they post it shows the lettering in black, not silver, I literally have to use a flashlight to be able to read the lettering! They were unwilling to make the exception since this did not impair the workings of the Refrigerator. I purchased 6 Frigidaire appliances for our remodel and I can not tell you how disappointed I am with Frigidaire customer service, exceptions can be made, they just lost a lifelong customer due to poor customer service and an unwillingness to replace a part that costs approximately $150.
Ice maker is under recall. Noisy, doors will not align. Doors creak, the company canceled my repair date wants me to wait….its been 2 months. The Frigidaire gambit…keep making excuses till the consumer gives up.
Missing top shelf and came with broken door shelf
This buyer truly went out of their way to help us with horrible delivery issues. We like the fridge
The product is as described and seems to be a good value for the money. It will work fine in our basement bar but I wouldn’t expect that it would serve the primary refrigeration needs of a family very well.I’ll say upfront, I’m usually very happy with Amazon. However, this time they missed the mark. First, this was listed as an Amazon shipped item. However, there was no indication that it would take almost 2 weeks to before it shipped. Even when I called customer support a week after placing my order, they couldn’t give me a shipping estimate.Upon delivery, the team wheeled the refrigerator to my door and then said,”Sorry sir, we only have 5 minutes to make this delivery and our time is up. Have a nice day.” So there I am standing outside my house with a 240 pound refrigerator. They said I would have needed to contract for “inside service” if I wanted them the bring it in. Hmm, don’t remember seeing that as an option on my prime delivery.Fortunately, I own a hand truck and I’m still spry enough to manhandle a 240 pound refrigerator by myself. That may not be your situation. If you don’t mind waiting an undetermined amount of time for your product and are prepared to deal with being your own moving crew, this might be a good fit for you. Otherwise, make your purchase/shipping decisions accordingly.
I like this fridge a lot.Pros:No fingerprints/pet nose prints on the stainlessTwo separate freezer compartmentsCools food and liquid very quicklyPriceCons:No lighting in the freezer compartmentsNo handles makes it harder to open with your hands fullShelving in the fridge is not very adjustable so large items do not fit well on the shelvesHave to open both doors to access right drawer in the fridge
Nice retro style. Bright red finish. Cools quickly and evenly. Door seals nice. Shelves can be removed. Design allows for wall hugging. Two door design much better than single door models. Quiet operation. Heavy electric cord. Perfect for campers or other compact installations.
*UPDATE* Since writing this review, the Curtis International Support Team has had me trapped in a 26 message long email thread where they constantly need additional or better information from me to process my request for warranty information. I have sent them upward of 20 photographs of my now “field destroyed” fridge, which is a hilarious process in and of itself (we had to cut all the wires, shred the manufacturing tags, rip off all of the product detail stickers and scratch the serial number off of everything, among other things while photo-documenting the entire process) and I STILL do not have confirmation of warranty replacement on the product. Rather than telling me everything they need from me all at once, they send me new requests week-by-week, which is remarkably unprofessional. These guys take a minimum of 5 days to respond to anything, I’m assuming they’re going to drag this out until September at this rate so I’m out of range for the warranty. There’s a lot to unpack about my experience with this particular product, so TLDR; This refrigerator arrived almost a month late, heavily damaged from the shipping process. The replacement that was sent to me had compressor failure within 5 months which rendered it completely unusable, and I think it’s going to take an act of God for the manufacturer to help sort out the warranty situation.Did Amazon try to make this right by replacing the damaged fridge? Yes. Did Amazon, Frigidaire, or Curtis International manage to provide me my factory warranty information in a reasonable fashion? Absolutely not. When I originally ordered this product on September 27, 2022, it was Prime eligible for delivery 4 days later on October 1, 2022. Following my order, I received email after email notifying me that my delivery was running “indefinitely late”. After several weeks of this, I finally got the product, which was delivered to me in a heavily damaged box that had several gashes and dents in it. Unsurprisingly, the fridge inside was equally damaged, with dents and scratches all around the outside. At this point, I reached out to Amazon, who directed me to Frigidaire, and requested a replacement. I was required to send the one I had back to Amazon, which was fine, and Amazon was able to fulfill this request.I received my replacement refrigerator about a week later, and it was in great shape. I plugged it in, stocked it, and everything was fine until late April. One day I noticed a large puddle of water underneath the fridge as I was walking by, and opened it to see what was going on. I was greeted with even more water pouring out, as all the ice that had formed in the freezer compartment had melted. The inside of the fridge was room temperature, as were all of its contents. This fridge is opened probably 2-3 times a week, so the issue was not from wear-and-tear.Once again, I get on the phone with Amazon. Amazon takes note and directs me back to Frigidaire. This time, however, Frigidaire is claiming that they do not make these fridges and could not help me with replacing or getting support for this model (??) thus beginning the must infuriating game of phone and email tag I have ever experienced in my life.PREPARE YOURSELF.Frigidaire forwards me to Curtis International, which is apparently the manufacturer of JUST THIS ONE model of Frigidaire fridge. Curtis says “oh… yeah that’s a Frigidaire product, you need to speak to them” and proceeds to cut me off from explaining that I already spoke to them, to tell me they were forwarding my call to the Small Appliance department of Frigidaire. What they ACTUALLY forwarded me to was the Vacuums department, the representative for which was obviously not able to assist. He transfers me BACK to Curtis, and Curtis attempts to transfer me back to the Vacuum department at Frigidaire amidst me begging them repeatedly not to transfer my call again. After many requests to speak to different representatives that may know how to help me, I finally reached someone who was able to file a support claim on the fridge. Two weeks go by, and I receive an email from Curtis asking me to provide a clear photo of the part/area that is damaged (how you show in a photograph that your fridge is room temperature inside is beyond me, so I just sent images of the until on all sides, inside, and underneath) as well as a photo of the receipt from the store I had purchased it from [Amazon]. I respond with a screenshot of my original invoice, as well as the replacement invoice, since one included the proof of payment and the other was for the actual fridge I had in-hand at this point. I ask, “will these invoice records suffice?” to which Curtis Support Team replies “we suggest contacting Amazon regarding your concerns as we are not the ones who provide, handle, and service these areas.”I am officially in what feels like an infinite loop. I chose to call Curtis Support line, for a 5th time, today. On hold for 30 minutes, agent asks for my claim number. I give it. They say “please give me a moment while I check your record” and then proceed to leave me on hold for another 20 minutes. Then the call just… ends. I call back, same thing start to finish. I call back a THIRD TIME, I tell the agent I don’t want to be put on hold while they check my record this time. She says, “please send a copy of your invoice to the Curtis Support Team and please be patient while they respond”. I have her quite literally read me the emails in their support system where I already did this, and the nonsense response they sent back, and all she can tell me is to send it again and to please be patient.I have no more patience to spare. This has been almost 2 months of nonsense just trying to figure out if there is a factory warranty on this stupid fridge and as of 15 minutes ago, I’m still being asked to wait patiently. I was on hold for SO LONG, SO MANY TIMES, that I was able to write this in an effort to spare you, a prospective buyer, the headache I have endured. For the love of all that is holy, please save your money and go buy a different make/model… because if you decide to buy this one and something happens to it, you’re in for a real bad time.
Got this when our fridge/freezer suddenly died and it was going to be a while before someone could come out to fix. It does the job, only complaint is that it doesn’t have a lot of room to store much inside, as the shelves don’t go all the way back like our old one did.
Bought this for our guest cottage and it looks great aesthetically. Regret not buying a bigger one after my college grad son and girlfriend moved in temporarily, but we cook a LOT at home so need a well stocked fridge. Pretty basic, plasticy construction, expected for the price, but look, feel and finish are fine for what it is. Main gripe is that it is NOISY when the compressor operates and in a small space that can be annoying and distracting. Not sure if there is an easy fix for this or if I’m doing something wrong, but that’s the distinct impression after 4 months of use.
This is a nice little refrigerator. It came in good condition and looks nice. Beware the handles are plastic and can break easily. The unit includes adjustable feet to prevent it from rocking, which is a nice feature. The freezer is small but gets down to -2 F, which is nice. The unit does Not have an auto defrost, so plan on defrosting ever few months. Just after a few days the back of the refrigerator has ice on it. My biggest complaint after two weeks is the refrigerator will NOT go below 39F, which is a problem, as you must keep food below 40F to keep bacteria from growing quickly. So far we just have sealed drinks in there, so not an issue. But I would not use this refrigerator for risky foods, like eggs, milk, meat, etc.
I had one for a few years, but it finally failed. I had it in my bedroom so I didn’t have to get up to go to the kitchen for a soda. Ok, ‘fess up – I have been known to keep candy bars in it too. HAD to get a new one. Love the color. Its on the table next to the bed so I have my soda, my tv, and my cats. Heaven here on earth.
I got this for my bedside table for the “fridge hack” for pumping. I keep my parts in it over night so I don’t have to get up to wash them at 4am. It fits 2 spectra bottles and flanges perfectly and still has room for one bottle. I keep my bottle warmer right next to it and it’s made the middle of the night pump and feeds so much easier! I also love that it has a car adapter and will definitely be using it on long car rides to keep milk cold. I can see myself just rocking a car fridge when my pumping days are behind me 🤣
Purchased the pink one last year and a black one. They are both in areas of little dust and great venting. 1st pink one made it just over a year. Purchased a replacement in June, dead in Aug. Just out of return time. The other one i bought last year, died last week.Found similar on the Frigidaire store. Going to try that route this time and purchasing 3 year warranties this time.I did not know this was a thing in needed in my life until i had one of my desk for so long. I drink more water if it’s on the desk and cold.I have one in reception and all the delivery drivers love it
Honestly, I was skeptical about buying another mini fridge since my last 2 died within a year of purchase. But after some human skid mark went into my lunch box in our work fridge and stole halfbof my lunch last week, I decided to try again my other option was to make them a Wasabi sammich, so I figured this was a better option. The shelves and door shelves are removable or adjustable to meet your space needs . As evidenced by my photos you will see I am able to fit a creamer container in there with no issue. It cooled down super quick after initial plug in. I was surprised at how light it was too. It has a convenient handle on the top for carrying. To my surprise it also has a metal cover on the door that will take magnets. For now I am happy but if it dies early I shall update this review. First date of use was 8.14.2023.
It’s beautiful. I really like it. I had to leave it in the garage till the smell went away. Also put a bunch of baking soda in.
Bought it as a desk fridge for work to keep drinks in. First, it is cute. It does keep drinks cool, not ice cold, but cool. -20 degrees from air temp, cooler when drinks are put in cold. Can fit 6, 12oz, I repeat, 12oz cans resting on their sides, or 3 16oz energy drinks, or 2 16oz water bottles at an angle. Lightweight plastic. Slightly louder than a standard computer, noticeable, but easily falls into background noise. Appears to function by cooling interior conductive plates that chill the cans touching them. If you are looking to keep drinks and your lunch cool at your desk look into the 6 to 8 liter sizes. 4L is too small for that. Lastly, it is adorable, I will be buying a larger one but I am absolutely keeping this one.
