Unoriginal ‘retro’ minigames in a 3xAAA battery powered portable- you’re better off downloading free games on your phone.This portable system was overall ok. 153 bootleg games in one- these games ‘borrow’ a great deal from games that were made around 30 years ago. The picture currently for this listing even shows a knockoff of Pole Position. My favorite ‘borrow’ is the Ducktales theme as the music for a game called Demon Hunter. The build quality and game control is surprisingly good, as it is usually lacking for such inexpensive portables, but the entire system is about the size of a deck of cards. Overall, the minigames are too boring to have kept my attention long enough to test how long batteries last. No output- no way to use a power cord, connect to tv, or even headphones. I did like the packaging- the manufacturers were also considerate enough to include a mini screwdriver (required for the battery compartment) and lanyard.If you’re curious, go ahead and buy it. I got it super cheap even without some promo or discount, but don’t expect it to blow you away. If you’re looking for something fun that you would actually play, you better keep looking.

This little bad boy packs a punch and I have to say I’m impressed. Get this straight, its an emulator. There are 182 games, many you know and love. Most titles on here are old 8-bit games that came out in the 80’s and 90’s. There are also a few homebrew 8 bit games as well. For $23 this is an absolute steal. After I got the first one and saw the games on here for myself I am in the process of ordering 3 more. There is also a cable that attaches to your TV to play it there but I haven’t tried it yet to review it. One downside is button placement makes it harder than using an NES controller. Other than that, Its perfect. I work on a psych unit and these will make allot of clients very happy and entertained without internet or anything they can get into trouble with if they were using a phone for games.*edit*This systems screen will flicker then go black when batteries run low but the sound will work. It will look like a malfunction but its just the batteries dying. I thought the system died after 3 days but I was wrong. After changing the batteries the screen came back on and played normally.

I got these for my boys to keep them occupied on a driving trip. Little did I know, these are really awesome! Original game titles, able to play 2 player, good solid design. Even my husband and I are planning! Highly recommend!

Product obviously cheaply made and cheap feel to it, but it DID work as advertised and my 8 year old son loved it until one day about 2 months after he received it, he played with it, turned it off, then turned it back on only to find the screen was ruined and unplayable. It was half white, had a big black jag of dead pixels running diagonally through it, and one corner showed a small part of the game that was still sounding from the speaker.It was not dropped or damaged, the screen just suddenly lost almost all it’s pixels and the display was ruined. My son was heart broken.

The screen is small but the games are built for it so unlike nes clones that may have bigger screens, the in game characters in this console are still usually bigger. Also small screen gives longer battery life. The games are shorter than nes games and that makes sense since nes clones have no saves either. The buttons personally were too stiff for me but I fixed it to my taste

In order this for a gift. It broken with in a few months. Purchased another one which broke. I returned it to get another one with broke. Don’t buy this it’ll will just break.

The buttons don’t seem to connect on the games. It was more like I was watching a demo than using buttons to control a game. I was simply testing it out before giving it to the boys. I will be returning.

The device comes with so many games installed and worked great the little we used it. I ordered it last month and now it does not work. Since it died so quickly I would not order again unless the seller replaced it. Amazon would not let me return it since we are over 30 days.Update: The device started working again and is back to normal.

Great picture quality. My daughter loves this little game. And even though the games may be a little old school, there are a lot of them. It comes with AV Jack that you can plug into your TV or your child’s TV and they can play on their TV. My Little 6 year old loves to play those games on her TV. I can hear her laughing in the living room.

Overall it’s a great little handheld, as someone new to the retro gaming scene I’d done a fair amount of research and saw the RG351V often recommended as one of the best vertical handhelds, and after having it for a couple weeks I’m really impressed by the device. New firmware was super easy to install, and performance up to Nintendo 64 era is generally excellent. I’ve mostly used it for playing Pokemon ROM hacks and I’ve had very few software issues so far, using Amberelec for the firmware. The screen is surprisingly clear and vibrant with good brightness range. It’s got a fairly comfortable grip, though the shoulder buttons can be a little awkward to use if you have bigger hands. The speaker is about what you’d expect, small and fairly tin-ey but perfectly acceptable for Gameboy games. Buttons give great feedback and feel solid without being overly clicky. The battery life isn’t amazing, but depending on what you’re playing you can probably squeeze out 4-5 hours of solid gameplay. Overall it’s a great device, I’ve been playing it nonstop since I bought it and would highly recommend to anyone on the fence about it.

No volume button so be prepared for that. They are a little loud so I just put some tape over the sound holes and that seemed to do it! Lots of games- kept the kids occupied on a 8 hour car ride.

Bought this for my 8 you’re old who was getting a little too attached to my old iPhone lol, straight out of the package this was easy to use and she loves it and all the games included are entertaining . I love that it’s no Wi-Fi required to play the games .Definitely gives me peace of mind lol

These are great in the car for a road trip and easy to use. The screen is small. The batteries last a long time.

This mini game console is fun, but I’m giving it 3 stars because: there are too many games repeated, the screen could be a little bigger, the A and B buttons are reversed, it “eats” batteries like crazy, and no hdmi connectionto tv. On older tv’s, that last reason wouldn’t be an issue, buy newer tv models don’thave av ports. If I buy another similar console, I will search for a rechargeable one, and ask to see the list of games before buying, and make sure it has an hdmi cable to connectto the tv. On the plus side, some of my favorite classic nes games are there, like Contra, Super Mario Bros 1 and 3 (I can’t find 2), Marios Bros, track and field, don king kong
