This was a PAIN to put in. I tried for hours to activate it but it would not work. The apps both have bad reviews so I downloaded both and tried both, calling both customer support numbers with no answer (they are overseas but they called back around 11pm, very polite) I gave up after about 4 hours.THEN I tried again around 8 or 9pm and finally got it to work. It has been so helpful and convenient to be able to not use a key to get in. The fingerprint never works the first try for me but always the second, not going to complain about that. We have already had to replace batteries after like two months. The biggest benefit is not having to give people a key to get in. We had to have our dogs checked in on while we were at a work event. We were able to generate a temporary passcode and they got in easily. When we take our dogs on walks, I enjoy not having to carry keys , as I can lock and unlock from my finger or the app if needed. There is also tags you can scan or an actual key you can use. 4 options!In my experience I would recommend. I almost returned it those first few hours but I’m glad I tried again !

Pretty easy to install – ran into the usual problems of the striker plate screw holes not lining up with the existing ones and I had to make the deadbolt receptacle hole deeper because the bolt is longer than the old one. Nothing I didn’t anticipate – every DIY home repair takes longer than you expect.On the other hand, programming the lock is really easy and straight forward – the instructions are clear and easy to follow.It came with the auto-lock feature turned off, so I enabled it. It’s easy to manually lock the door just by hitting any button for a couple of seconds, so I’m undecided about keeping auto-lock on.

This lock would not work properly. I have owned and installed several locks like this, various brands and have never had an issue. So no, the issue is not that I don’t know what I’m doing. This lock is just simply, a piece of junk. Once installed the bolt would slide back and forth 2 or 3 times whether you’re trying to lock or unlock. Always remaining in the unlocked state. Mechanism was smooth but the problem is with the electronics. I emailed the company and recieved no response. Threw the lock in the garbage, now I’m out $68.00 Canadian. Decided to go with a brand name that I trust. My new Weiser Powerbolt 2 lock just arrived today via Amazon. I’m sure this lock will work fine. My own fault for buying some no name Chinese junk and trying to save a few bucks. I hope this review saves someone some money and aggravation.October 21 2021After leaving the above review which originally was given only one star the Teeho company contacted me. They apologized for the faulty lock and returned most of the money I spent. Payed $68.00 and recieved $54.00 back from them. I consider this to be great customer service. If I need another lock, I may try this company again.

I have Schlage sense door locks on my duplex. I’ve had them for a couple years and they do exactly what I need them to do. I wanted to keypad door locked so I bought one of these be about 40 bucks for it on Amazon. Which legs were over $200 each but they’ve been good door locks. I Las Vegas house I don’t keep Internet on it because it’s just a partial vacation rental. The quality of the two locks as far as workmanship seems to be about the same but the features of how the door lock unlocks the biggest difference is this Lock is far quieter and smoother than the Schlage. The keys aluminate brightly so that at night when you walk up to your front door and it’s a little bit dark it’s very easy to see which buttons you’re pushing. I don’t know that anybody has really made a comment on how loud a Schlage door lock yes but I can hear that thing it’s annoying as hell. This door lock is smooth and quiet and it 40 bucks how do you beat that. Don’t get me wrong I’m not changing out my door locks on my Airbnb rental with this cheaper door lock only because I need to be able to program the door lock Wi-Fi and do it from a remote location that this lock will not do. That being said I just program in about 10 different programs make a note of it in my iPhone and if anybody wants to get in my house I have a code for them that’s not my code and or if I rent the house I can use that code and when they leave I can just go And delete that code yeah kind of a pain in the butt but less than 20% of the cost what value. Only time will tell if it last as long as my other door locks last but being from a automotive field what I can tell you is when you hear some thing that’s quiet and smooth it generally lasts a lot better than something that’s loud and vibrates and agitates. My point is this door lock is quieter smoother easier to operate easier to see to get in at night easier with your eyes closed to be able to lock it when you walk out the door it has the automatic locking feature it’s an absolute no-brainer for 40 bucks unless you absolutely need it to be Wi-Fi and nobody absolutely needs it to be Wi-Fi but it is a key feature that I can’t be without on one of my Airbnb rentals that being said I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one of these bad boys in a Minnesota second if I needed one

quality is great for the price, the only thing I feel they can improve is the key as I have to focus when I tap each key, they are not very easy to press like other door locks, but I have to mention the huge difference in price. overall it’s a great lock and doesn’t consume battery life quick had it for over a month now and never had an issue and can set more than one code which is nice. If they improve the sensitivity of the keys I think this lock will be the best lock in the market when looking at its price!!Thank you Amazon for this great product

This lock was a breeze to install, even in my older door that doesn’t have a part that’s been chiseled out. It comes with a circular adapter to hold everything in place without chiseling, which is very nice and matched my old deadbolt setup. The instructions are easy to follow and it comes with a foldable “map” to remind you how to perform basic tasks and change a few options.We just had a house-sitter for a week, and it was a breeze to set up a code for her and then delete her code when we were back home. I can imagine this would also be very useful if you’re running a home sharing business.My only gripe is that it doesn’t recognize when the door is open or closed, so if you have the auto-lock set it will pop out the deadbolt even if the door is open. It’s led to me trying to shut the door with the deadbolt sticking out, but that’s really more user error than anything else and at this price I didn’t expect it to have a ton of sensors and smart functionality.Would recommend.

I bought this lock to mainly keep my kids and kid visitors out of my bedroom. After thoroughly reading the instructions, I did have to do a little extra prepping for my door, it was an easy step by step install. The video they gave a link to in the instructions was also helpful. I did want to point out though after successfully installing the lock, the outter handle wasn’t doing a full turn to open the door. After trial and error and to branch off another reviewers post (he didn’t explain what he did to fix it)…The lock is in locked mode. You have to pretty much reset the temporary lock and customize all your passwords, cards, and codes. THEN, it will work with a full handle turn to open the door.Now I can be at peace knowing the littles aren’t destroying my room and I can hide my stuff!

The instructions were very easy to follow. Had essentially no problem with installation. My wife really loves this, because she was always having to fumble around in her purse trying to find her keys. The automatic lock feature sounds really good and we may implement it in the future, but with holidays and family coming, we chose to put off for a while.

Easy install. Secures tightly with the two bolt/screes provided. Works flawlessly. Really nice to have a keyless option to enter my house. Can be modified to fit smaller bore holes. I have an older home built in the 1970’s. I searched all over for a keyless lock that would fit my 1980’s garage door. None as the 2-1/8 is now the standard. The door has steel sheeting on both sides and thus enlarging the 1-1/2 inch diameter lock bore hole would not have been easy as all my large hold bits are for wood. Instead, used my $10 harbor freight grinder with a cut off wheel and removed the metal insert from the solid steel outer keyboard half. Took about 20 minutes to modify. I kept is secure in a vice, but another person holding it from below would have worked. See attached before and after photos. Note there is a small plastic sleeve I used to protect the wiring (not needed as taping it to one side worked better) and a 1.5 inch washer sitting on top of the lock mechanisms to give you and idea of what size I needed.

Took 20 minutes and no more keys ! We only use on the door we use the most. (Still lock and keys for the front door) Punch in 4 digits your in. One 9volt battery has lasted 2 years on the 1st one we bought. This one is used on the garage. Really a great deal and a great Brand. Schlage !

Lock was simple to install. I now have 5 ways to unlock the front door. Fingerprint reader, Fob, Numeric PIN, smart phone app, and a physical key.I would accidently lock the door as I responded to a Fire or Ambulance Call, locking my wife outside. Now she can easily let herself back in.When I added the G2 Gateway I added a 6th means to open the door locally or remotely. I can let friends or family in when I am away.I had some issues with the app. I called for help. They solved the problem. It was my error but, they never blamed me.This has simplified our lives.

I have been looking for a electronic lock for some time. After seeing the reviews for this one I went for it and I am glad that I did. Installation was a breeze and only took 5 minutes. Setting up the access codes was very easy as well. I like the amount of features it has such as autolock, silent mode, and being able to add multiple codes. Will buy again for other doors at my house.

We ordered this lock during a major home renovation and installed it about 5 months ago, before we actually moved into our house. We moved in less than 3 months ago and use the door this lock is on as our main entry to the house.It stopped working and I contacted the seller, who quickly replied and asked for more information to help troubleshoot our problem. After submitting the needed info, they quickly sent us a new lock set. The process was very smooth and they were extremely helpful to us. The new lock is working great!

Got this during a limited time sale and so glad I did! This is a great, easy-to-install digital lock that isn simple and looks great. I wasn’t looking for anything too high-tech, just needed something for the family to use in a storage room since we are always misplacing the keys. This one fits the bill. I’m not a big DIY type but having read through the previous reviews I decided to give it a shot. Thankfully it was easier than expected. Took me about an hour to get this up and running, and that’s just because we had to read adjust the openings on the side by half a centimeter for smoother locking. Installed this at night, too. Love the look of it, the nickel matches with the rest of the door perfectly. As mentioned, the highlight of this item is simplicity, didn’t want anything complicated or something that connected to wifi or included fingerprint scans…just an easy PIN lock with auto-lock function. It’s been great for that. All we set up was a simple 4-digit code and we’re set. There are other features beyond auto-lock that I haven’t programmed yet, but I’m sure they will come in handy. Am so impressed I am considering getting another lock for the back door, for those who keep forgetting keys!
