I don’t think these would be great hula hoops, but they make *the* *perfect* drone racing gate. For most size drones I’d imagine, as you can make a larger circles provided you find a way to support them (at a certain point they’d become to flimsy to hold themselves up).For my micro drone obsession, they are perfect to clutter the house and make my wife hate me with. Because they come apart, I can vary circle size or break them apart to make half circles, arches, slalom gates, etc.I suppose them coming apart also means I could put them away when I’m done racing…but…I’m probably not going to do that. But you can. Theoretically.I put sturdiness and durability low because these things are pretty flimsy plastic but strong enough for my purposes. They’ll take a million full speed head on crashes with a micro drone, but bigger drones will likely cause damage… and no way they could hold up as hula hoops.TL;DR I’m a micro drone racing nerd, and the amount of fun–the number of race course variations I can create with these for a measly $25! When more official race gate options charge double the cost for less than half the gates (and none of the customization) I’m left with no choice but to buy a whole lot more of these for the house, the yard, the neighbor’s yard… my wife is going to kill me.Oh! Did I mention that these glow under blacklight? #neonracing
Although comes in pieces to assemble, it’s pretty sturdy. Perfect for my 8 yr old. For my younger daughter’s, I just made out leaving out two pieces. Wasn’t exactly a circle without the missing two pieces but still worked and they were happy.

The worst hula hoop in the world, it’s hard to assemble, not sturdy to use as a Hula hoop, it’s hard to turn on the lights through the plastic and they go out when the hoop is in use, the pieces of hoop cracked when slotting together which isn’t easy to assemble and I would never recommend to anyone , worst money spent
I got this for my 3 year old daughter who was begging for a hoola hoop. She has no idea how to use one so I liked the idea of having one that is a little smaller. While this one is technically size adjustable, the smaller you make it, the more imperfect the circle is and it just doesn’t work at all. But even if you use every piece, it still doesn’t work well. I can’t hoola hoop with it and I know how to hoola hoop. So it’s fine for me daughter who just holds it around her waste and shakes her hips, but if your kid actually wants one that will work, this won’t.
Assembly is easy but the hula hoop does not maintain a circular shape unless you use all 8 sections. Also it’s very light so does not get that centrifugal force to keep it going. You could probably put sand in some of the sections to help that. Sections are flimsy so you can bend them when assembling. Probably wouldn’t recommend them.
This hoop was easy to assemble but makes a lot of rattling sounds when you use it. Furthermore, it ceased to light up after a few days of practicing with it. Amazon did send a replacement and I got to keep the broken one but we’ll see how long that one lasts too.
This was not easy to assemble as implied yes it was doable but it was not easy. Good luck once you make it small for toddlers trying to disassemble it to make it big again. I didn’t realize that before assembling it for my toddlers I tried to disassemble it to show them how to use it and yes the hoola hoop won. I gave up could not pull those loops apart so now we’re playing jump through the hoop 🤦🏽♀️Update: So Liberty reached out to me. I. Their customer service is amazing. 2. The replacement hoop that they sent me did exactly what it was supposed to do. It was easy to assemble. I was even able to remove the hoops and add them back. I would definitely purchase from them again. We’ve been playing hoola hoop since we got the updated hoop. Thank you again Liberty for the excellent customer service.

It’s basically garbage. You get pieces that are supposed to make a hola hoop, but they don’t fit together. It’s supposed to be lighted. You get no directions on how you put these square little things with wire anywhere.I just threw the whole thing out.
