The item was s very strong and fits the duty belt well. The only issue that I have with this item is the fact that screws have come out of the clip and they are gone. The screws cannot be replaced because the screws appear to be proprietary and I cannot find placements. I have made attempts to contact the manufacturers customer service number , but they never answered.

Had to tinker with it to get the perfect amount of retention for my personal preference, And I can adjust it for more or less retention as needed quick and easy. Use the clip on my pocket on my belt it is uncomfortable for my fat. Protrudes into my side. Wish they had of put the belt loop higher so that my multi-tool would set a little lower.

I purchased this to hold my Skeletool and it’s working out nicely so far. The stiffness of the leather made it only a little difficult to close at first, but I see that more as a testament to the durability of the leather. I’m sure it’ll get easier as I use this more and more over the coming months.

over time the elastic side-straps loosen. I did lose a non-ratcheting extension after probably two years of using this. The ratcheting extension is fatter, so I’m hoping it won’t slip out, but the other only did after a couple years of use. In summary, great holster but count on replacing it every couple of years to safeguard your investment if you use one or the other of the bit extenders. If you don’t, no worries. You’ll get a few good years out of it until the snap doesn’t fit as snugly. Use your Leatherman at that point to slightly deform the snap knurl and you’ll likely be good to go for a year or two more.

Works with my wave+,super tool 200&300 but is not a good fit for the skeletool at all.

I am one of those weird guys, former scout, who pretty much always has a multitool on my belt. If I have pants on, I have a multitool. I use it at work a dozen times a day and it comes in handy a lot more than you might think around the house.All that said, my belt sheath takes a beating. I’ve been hip deep in muddy water wearing it, and it’s simply tough. You can see in the picture that the leather it’s made of is noticeably thicker than the factory leatherman belt sheath. The one pictured has been in service for about a year now and I have no doubts that it’ll last a long, long time. Fits a leatherman rebar comfortably.

As others have mentioned in their reviews, the magnets holding the cover closed are very weak and there is NO doubt that the cover will open if the sheath is upside down or thrown around anywhere. That said, i had a couple of neodymium magnets lying around and just stuck them onto the magnets that are sown into the cover. They are exactly the same size and grip well. With the two magnets (or even just one) the cover clicks on much more satisfactorily and i’ll be very surprised if it will flip open by accident anymore.I thought perhaps i should sew them in, but realised it’s quite handy to have a couple of magnets sticking around in the kit so i’m going to just leave them as they are. The only thing to look for is that when i pull the tool out (ooh-aah) that i pull the cover back a bit or the magnets attach themselves to the tool instead… shouldn’t really be a problem as i expect the cover to become more slack with use and it will flip out of the way on its own.The wave+ fits perfectly in the sheath. Too perfectly. It sinks right down to the bottom of the sheath and that makes it hard to pull it out. I cut a bit of the foam that came with the sheath and put it at the bottom of the holder and now the tool sits level with the bit kit and sticks out enough to make it easy to pull out of the sheath.The wave+ doesn’t have tweezers and rather than buy another tiny tweezer to stow away, i just pinched a full-size one (sharper edges) from the house and put it along with the bit extender (with rubber bands for grip and just in case) in one of the outside pockets. I’ve stashed a small carabiner and some light paracord in the open pocket on the other side.I can see the nylon is probably not has heavy duty as the Leatherman sheath but it fits all the bits and bobs i want to keep together very neatly and I’m happy with the purchase.

I order this case particular 4″ model case knowing that Leatherman lists the 4.5″ as being the correct one for the Charge+. based on the dimensions, I took a chance on the slightly smaller 4″ model and could not be happier. At first the Charge+ fits very tight. It took a little effort to get it fully seated into the case, but no real problem getting it in there. I let it sit in the case overnight and now it fits like a glove. The leather is a very good quality and should last many many years. I can highly recommend this Leatherman case.

Skeptical, at first, that a small would be the correct size for the Rebar. But after reading reviews, that’s what I chose and it works great. I like this vintage look and style much better than the black case that came with the tool.
