My parents deal with lots of cash every, single day. I remember as a boy helping them count, and it was overwhelming going through an ocean of $1 bills. This money counter came at the right time to help alleviate some of the monotony and stress associated with counting cash as accurately as possible. Honestly, I had never used one before and did not expect much from this machine, especially at $100 when all other ones were at least double that price. So, how did it go?PROS- VERY fast count at 1,000 bills/min- 100% accurate count with no jam with about 100 bills going through at least 20 tests- Counted kinked bills- Stopped the count when a fake bill was detected (it was a simple piece of paper we inserted into the mix)- BONUS: Can be used to count other things (ie. business cards) when set to NOT detect bills- EXCELLENT price- 2x displays (one is movable) so both you and the customer can see the count at the same time- 4 Detection Modes: Count only, or Count with one or multiple options: Ultraviolet (UV), Magnetic (MG), Infrared (IR)- 2 Processing Modes: Add, Batch—- ADD: count over multiple batches (ie. put in 100 bills, then 50, and it will show a count of 150)—- BATCH: count out batches (ie. put in 100 bills and have it spit out 10 bills at a time)- Bill thickness adjustment at the backCONS- ONLY counts the NUMBER of bills, not the total VALUE (denomination) of them (ie. 10 bills, not 2x $20 and 8x $10). You must separate bills of different denominations- No historical data is maintainedNOTES- Did not have the chance to test counterfeit bills, nor did we test ripped or damaged ones- If a stack was stopped due to a fake bill or error, I suggest you start over the count of that stack- To count the VALUE of a stack of bills of the same denomination, use this formula: COUNT x BILL VALUE. So, if you have 15x $20 bills, that’s 15 x $20 = $300Overall, I was very impressed by the speed and accuracy of this machine. At just $92, this counter is a GREAT buy. Some manual math is still required, but it is infinitely better than sitting at the store and counting thousands of bills.

I pretty much like everything about this machine. It’s a very quick setup and you just drop the bills in…. out they come from the other end, counted. You can either count just the NUMBER of bills, or you can use the “value” where you put in all $20s, for example, indicate that on the setup, and will tell you how many $20s you have and the total value. (same for all the other denominations). You can do batches, so if you have more bills than easily fit in the hopper, it will combine the values and give you an end total. It’s FAST. It will tell you if you get bills crooked in the hopper – it will hang, but it self-clears without tearing up the bills. It also has a counterfeit detector, but I don’t have any counterfeit bills, thank goodness, so I couldn’t test that one. Recently I did a lot of upgrades on my house, and some of the contractors wanted cash for payment. In one instance, I counted the bills THREE TIMES, then ran them through the bill counter and discovered I would have paid the contractor $20 too much. I’m sure this machine will be saving me money in the future, too. Totally a great purchase!

Works great on old bills but new bills sometimes freak it out. It was worth the price though. We needed it for fund raiser and it did a great job for our needs.

THIS ONLY COUNTS THE NUMBER OF BILLS… IT DOES NOT GIVE CASH AMOUNT, ONLY AMOUNT OF BILLS INSERTED.This is a great machine for counting the number of bills. Very easy to use.Simply calculate the number of bills for cash amount. Example: If you insert 100 $20 bills, you can times the amount per currency (100×20=) etc.

We own a Carwash and count thousands of “ones” every week. This is a time saver and works perfectly.

It works good, but the only problem is it rejects some bills for no reason, and it went back to zero,it works with no problem when you put bills little by little quantity

Item is easy to use and accurate. Would recommend to any organization that takes in large amounts of cash at fundraisers as it saves a lot of time over counting by hand.

I’ve had a Cassida bill counter for 12 years that I LOVED for its simplicity, but it was old and tired. I got this newer model, worried about the full-color display and choices making it take longer, but this machine counts like a dream.The only drawback is that it’s a bit more challenging to go between counting by batch and denomination. You need to circle around the batch counts to get out of the function entirely.
