I couldn’t believe how much water accumulated after just a few hours. Definitely has helped keep my room fresh since it’s a basement type room. It is very quiet and I can even leave it running while I sleep. The only negative thing about it is the blue lights.. there’s one blue light when it’s plugged in but off, and two when it’s in use. My room is extremely dark and even in the off position the light is very bright, and functions like a night light. It’s totally fine if you need that sort of thing, but I prefer to sleep in pitch black. I think the product would be better if you could choose to turn off the light, or at least if the light was only on when the dehumidifier was on, or full. Honestly it works great, so not worth returning or taking away a star for that. I just leave it off and throw something on top to cover it while I sleep.. then run it during the day when I’m not in there.

I purchased this for my dorm room. I live in a basement next to the laundry so it gets about as humid as it possibly could. Some days it seems to work better than others which could just be the humidity levels, but since our bathroom vent doesn’t have a fan or an outlet, the moisture tends to stick around. However, it is a small unit so it’s doing it’s best. I may have missed something in the manual, but I wish there was a way to turn down the volume of the beeping when you change settings on it so that it wasn’t so loud. Overall noise is ok though. I enjoy the color changing lights as well.

Amazing product! Have it for about 2 months and I definitely can feel difference. We just moved to our new house and the first day the air felt way too humid and stuffed. Also there was light mold signs. After 2 weeks of using it upstairs and downstairs I noticed big difference. It get much easier to breath and air feels lighter and cleaner. The machine is small and runs pretty quiet. Bucket is for 2 gallons and it was getting full after 20 hours in the first week but now I’m emptying it about every week or so. I would definitely recommend this product!

I purchased 2 of these for the attached garage and they have run most of the time, winter and summer. I finally took the water bins apart to clean (Thanks to those who shared that info in their review) and they were not all that bad, considering. This makes me wonder, there doesn’t seem to be any air filter to clean. The outside grooves at the air intake were pretty dirty. I’m wondering what the motor looks like. Other than that, I’m very happy with this purchase.

Product is really quiet, actually has sort of a pleasant little sound that could help you fall asleep. I’ve only had it a week so far, it seems to be doing what it’s supposed to. The first day I plugged it in there was already water in the bin right away. I ordered another one for another small room. Fingers crossed all continues to go well.

If you forget to unplug the unit, it cooks the window beads black, and you’ll never be able to tell the status.Unit should automatically shut-off to prevent this, but it will heat continuously until unplugged

I ordered this one because it was bigger than the one I had before (different brand). I’ve only had this for about 24 hours now and so far I like it. It’s in my bedroom so it’s nice a quiet. The on/off switch is in the back next to the power cord which is odd. It has 2 lights on top. One for when it’s on and one for when it needs to be emptied. The on light actually creates a larger lighted circle on my ceiling. It doesn’t prevent me from being able to sleep but id you’re used to sleeping in very dark conditions this may not be the dehumidifier for you.

This little dehumidifier is making a big difference in our master bathroom. Lack of proper ventilation was making our bathroom musty and moldy. We plugged this in and it started visibly working within the hour. We have to empty it about every 3 or 4 days. It’s incredibly to use and set up. The nightlight feature is also great for midnight bathroom trips. The only negative is the plug does get warm, so make sure you have a safe place to plug it in free of fire hazards.

The recharge feature is very unforgiving due to its simplicity. There is no smart circuitry inside, just a heating element that runs as long as the unit is plugged in. During recharge, the manufacturer recommends only leaving it plugged in for 10 to 12 hours and warns to not leave it in longer than 18 hours. I screwed this up several times because I kept forgetting to unplug in time. If you leave it in for too long (beyond the 18 hours), the colored silica gel on the front will turn black due to burning and then, although the unit will still function, it’s impossible to now know when it needs another recharge. It works. But, do not buy if you have a large area. My bathroom is about a 6ft.X8ft.X 8ft. ceiling with no window. I must leave it on for about 6-8 hrs. with closed door. It works, brings humidity down. Less moldgrowing. IF u have a larger room, DON’T buy any small dehumidifier. U will b wasting ur money. Buy one with a compressor. B wise!
