The biggest problem with this air inflator is the air gauge. The unit comes without batteries (2X AAA). There is a hard rubber/plastic cover that covers most of the back and the side of the air gauge and serves as protection against impact / dropping the tool. The battery compartment is on the back of the gauge with a snap out door (pretty common setup). There is a cutout in the rubber housing that isn’t large enough to allow the battery door to open. Before realizing that the rubber housing was preventing the door from opening, I had broken off the door tab trying to open it. Also, the rubber housing isn’t easily removed and can’t be completely removed from the gauge without cutting it. So, it’s an annoying chore to install or replace batteries.The pressure gauge has two buttons on it – Light and Units. Hitting the light button turns the gauge on for a brief amount of time and turns on a backlight. The backlight will run for maybe 30 sec and then turn off. The gauge’s display shuts off maybe 30 sec after that. If you are airing up the tires on a car, for instance, you will have to turn on the gauge several times during the exercise. The pressure gauge only displays when you stop pumping, it doesn’t display tire pressure as you are inflating the tire. I don’t know if more expensive inflators give you live pressure while inflating. It is still a little better than swapping an inflator and a separate air gauge as you are pumping up a tire.Other than that, the unit seems to work OK. I have only had it a few months, so I can’t provide insight to its durability.

I couldn’t wait to try it out (my first cordless / corded tire inflator). Here are my observations and experience:- It’s pretty simple to use with a very brief learning curve. I noticed that the preset car PSI value (36PSI) can be changed (as are the other presets), but it’s per session. Meaning, you can change it higher or lower before pumping air but it resets back to 36 PSI for the next session. It would have been nice if it could have been permanently stored.- The PSI readings are quite good. The first time I tried the pump, it was hot as heck here in Sacramento, CA. I should have remembered not to rely on pressure readings when the tire / air temp. was so hot. The second time I tried in the morning when it was cool and I went with the default 36PSI. Then I checked the pressure with my other professional-grade mechanical tire pressure guage and I found the readings accurate.- I love the fact that it shuts off at the preset pressure (sure this might be a simple thing for you, but for me who was used to putting up with the gas station pumps and all, I feel like a kid who just got handed a big bag of candy!!).- It’s noisier than I thought- The brass fittings on the pump get very hot (esp. with the longer pump runs like in my case when I first tried it when my tires were around 25PSI). So be very careful.But despite the noise and any other demerits, I am all in for this product! They did a marvelous job. If it lasts for even a year, it’s worth every penny! So go get one for yourself!

It has 2 very bright LED lights with 2 modes blinking and flashing in case you break down and need to be visible. It is great for car tires, bike tires ect. It has a 4000 mAh battery and is rechargeable which is perfect. It has a clear easy to read digital display. It can inflate up to 150 psi and it is extremely accurate. Very pleased at the overall price and value. Highly recommend it

This isn’t the fastest air compressor in the market for filling up Jeep/truck tires, but it runs continuously like a champ. The carrying bag and accessories are flimsy and cheap, but the air compressor works and that’s all that matters by. Filled up my 31 inch Jeep tires from 15psi to 40 in about 4 minutes. It’s fine for lite duty use, draws about 6amps with no load, and about 18-21 at 50psi so definitely use the direct battery clamp instead of the cigarette adapter or you risk blowing a fuse since most cigarette outlets are rated for 15-20 amps- in fact, if you have primitive mechanical/automotive skills- just cut off the cigarette adapter plug and crimp on battery clams to save yourself some fustration

Great product! I wanted a air compressor that was:- powerful- had a auto stop feature- digital- has a light- can plug in to the car charger or wall.It worked great. I bought 2 so my wife and I both have one in our cars. I showed my wife how simple it is to use it and she immediately filled all her tires and loves knowing she can handle it herself now.

So far, I only used the pump to correct the pressure in two tires which were low by a few PSI, and it worked well, so I assume that it will be the same in future uses. The air pressure in my tires fluctuates with the seasonal temperature changes, so this pump will be used multiple times yearly to correct the tire pressure. The cord was just long enough to reach the front/rear tires on my 2018 Nissan Murano SUV. I hooked up the compressor according to the instructions and set the pressure to 33 PSI. The pump ran for maybe a minute then shut off automatically. The Murano beeps the horn one time when the correct tire pressure is hit during filling; the horn beeped right at 33PSI. My digital hand gauge confirmed the pressure reading, I was impressed. The pump appears to be well made, pumps air fast, is reasonably quiet, has a nice storage case and uses a blade type of fuse which is easy to change if needed. The name plates on each side, slide off and can be used as a tool to release air pressure. Low tire air pressure is a gas hog, so this pump will eventually pay for itself in gas savings and the tires will last longer.

Bought this device and never used it for more than a year. Don’t know why I did that but I’m glad I finally started to use it. It’s a lifesaver! I can use it anywhere without any difficulty. I don’t have to worry about needing some assistance to do anything. And I don’t have to worry about locating the nearest gas station or service station to pump my tires. And I also don’t use any of the added valves included in the package. I just hook the longer tube/valve to the actual one extending from the device, hook it on the tire and done! As easy as 1, 2 & 3! For an older person or anyone with arthritis, this will not be a problem for you to use. You really need little to no pressure to attach the valve and press the on button! The one thing I also noticed is that, if I put a 32 or 32.5 air in using the PSI, I get 32.5 or 33. So that’s point 5 more than what I put in. The car still runs good and it’s not a problem for me. Just wanted to mention that for other consumer. Also, I keep mine in the house and not in the car but I do take it with me once I’m leaving the house for just in case….. over all, I’m very happy with this device and will definitely buy it again.

I tried two other pump setups, both with and without the extender NIU provides, and keeping tire inflation right was a pain. This device has an end which clamps on easily to my scoot’s valve ends, and also unclamps easily, losing nearly zero pressure on the detach, which is a joy. Have only used it twice now (once per tire), so don’t know about longevity yet, but so far, excellent, and that hose end is precious, it doesn’t look special but someone did a lot of careful engineering.

I was able to add approximately 2 lbs of air to all 4 tires of our Lincoln. My Santa Fe howeverhad one problem. 3 of the tires took air without a problem, but one of the rear tires would nottake air. The worst part was that every time I put the nozzle on the stem, the tire would lose apound of air. I ended up at the gas station bringing that tire from 29 lbs to 35 lbs. That tire wasthe last tire I worked on, and up to that point I was very impressed with the unit. I think it may bea bent valve stem that’s causing the problem.

I’ve just got this pump and used it once – the Astro AI Air Compressor Tire Inflator to 100 PSI.Seems like a nice little device.My last pump lasted 2 1/2 years before the short little hose (maybe 18 inch?) on it blew out .That one folded into a nice square package to fit under a car seat, hence the tiny hose.This one has a nice two piece 26 inch hose, which is much better, and makes inflating your tires to the proper pressure much easier. I will keep it in the box it came in, in the garage.I found the pre-set pressure cut-off at 32 psi, and the built in pressure gauge helpful and easy to use.Requires a Cigar Lighter type plug, found in most vehicles. Always run your engine when using this pump, or you may need a jump. 11/28/2022.

I entirely flat my car tire to test this item. My car tires use 40 PSI. I set up the car tire inflator to 40 PSI and from the time I started it only took 5 minutes to fill the tire. I love this item and I recommend it. It is very easy to work and to set up. Very nice.

It worked great for pumping up my 20″ tries. Guage was of only about 1 pound. It does not have a auto shut for pump. Cable was long enough to reach back tires.
