  1. We have been using this Etekcity digital scale for a year now in our our home are very pleased with the scale so far. We had purchased this scale to replace our previous Sunbeam manual , Spring loaded bathroom scale which was horribly inaccurate and deliberated for a considerable amount of time between this scale and the FitBit Aria smart scale . In the end because of the huge price difference and very positive reviews on this scale made us go with this oneDesign, Construction & Build————————————– The scale is feels heavy for its size mainly due to the thick, monolithic glass sheet stepping surface of the scale- All our fears or cracked or broken glass due to stepping on it frequently, bumping or dropping it were unfounded in the past year ( we did all of them !) , so its definitely sturdy and well built- The two tone black-sliver finish on the scale looks ultra modern and chic- The digital readouts are large and backlit in a pleasant not-too-strong blue which is visible both in light and complete darkness. I often check my weight on the scale during midnight bathroom visits.Long Term Accuracy—————————- When we initially purchased this scale i used a 10 lb Rice bag to measure its accuracy and it was always within 0.2 lb of 10 lb with repeated tests, which is very accurate for a digital scale and well suited for measuring body weight- Another pointer to the accuracy of this scale is that the weight that we got for our toddler son from his pediatrician using a professional balance scale matches the results we got from this scaleI tried the same accuracy test today after a whole year of use & abuse:10 lb Basmati Rice Bag : Scale Measured = 10.4 lb6lb Dumbbells : Scale Measured = 5.8 lbAs you can see that even after one year the scale is fairly accurate , for all I know it might be 100% accurate as well as I have no way of certifying that the 10lb rice bag or the dumbbells are infact their true stated weights.Battery Life—————– The scale is still using the two original AAA that came with the package even after a year of frequent, daily use so I’d say its great!Cons———– About the only con about this scale is that the glass surface, being glass, needs frequent cleaning as it shows water stains. we usually wipe it with a damp cloth once every week so its not too bad. If you are going worry about keeping it spotless always then you’ll going to have a hard time :)Overall we are very pleased with our purchase and couple of our family friends have also purchased it after seeing it in our home and can highly recommend this scale if your are looking for a good looking , inexpensive and accurate digital scale.

  2. First, this scale is really sleek and looks like something out of Star Trek. It’s very cool. Also, the numbers are big, clear, and bright.I compared the Innotech scale against an analog scale and an older digital scale by WD-2003A (“WD”). I was getting differing numbers on all three scales, so I used 80 pounds worth of dumbbells to test each scale. The Innotech was light by .5 pound, the WD was over by about .5, and the analog was light by about a pound.I then weighed a single 35 pound dumbbell and found that both digital scales read it as 33.5 pounds, and the analog read 33. So I think the dumbbell is light!NOTE: Both of my digital scales seem to work more accurately at lower weights. When I weighed myself (naked) on the WD I was 237 pounds. I’ve been using this scale for 5 years to track my weight loss (I’m down about 40 pounds now). When I weighed on the Innotech, I was 235.7, a difference of 1.3 pounds lighter. I put on my boxers and t-shirt and re-weighed myself on the Innotech and got 236 pounds, exactly 1 pound lighter than the WD.I’m going to recommend if you are a heavier person, perhaps over 200 pounds, weigh-in with boxers and a t-shirt to get a more accurate reading. Never wear socks, as the scale needs to read your bio-metrics through the soles of your feet. All scales where placed in the same spot in my bathroom. Results:Innotech: Mode: Normal (non-athletic. You can select this in your profile.)Weight: 236 pounds/ 43.5% body fatWD 2003A:One mode, no body fat option: 237 poundsAnalog scale:One mode, no body fat option: 235 poundsSo the Innotech is right in the middle of all my scales when I’m wearing boxers and a t-shirt. Therefore, I’m going to use the weight on the Innotech for my future results.PROBLEM:A problem I ran into with the Innotech is that the first time I weigh-in it often results in a number I know can’t be right. For example, if I weigh-in before bed and get 236 pounds, and then weigh-in the following morning, I sometimes see the same 236 pounds, or even a little higher on this scale. After a night of sleep, I know I usually drop 1.5 to 2 pounds, so getting the same result makes no sense.I find it will “fix itself” if I ignore the first weight, let it clear, and then get on a second time. I always weigh-in 3 times and take the last 2, NEVER the first result. I had this exact problem on the WD scale, and could never trust the first weigh-in.Perhaps this is an issue with all digital scales? It makes me wonder if there is a “buffer” that doesn’t always clear itself, and locks in a false first result. You have to stay on the scale until the “running lights,” big circles that travel left to right after you see your weight, have finished their cycle. Then it will give you your body fat percentage.THE APP:You can weigh-in without using the app, but it won’t record any of your stats. I’m happy for that, because I don’t always want to take my phone to the bathroom with me. Also, I want the stats weekly, not daily. The App is very informative with a good layout. As others have said, when pairing your phone to the scale be sure your location services are turned on. I don’t know why they need that, but everything paired flawlessly for me on the first try. A big “thank you” to the reviewer who suggested that. The app has several sections:GOAL: Allows you to set a target weight and shows you how much you have left to go. The Goal tab displays a number that is off by one pound. If you tell it your goal weight is 215, it will show 216. I’m not sure why it does that. However, on the main screen it shows the correct 215.TRENDS: A graph that tracks your various numbers.DASHBOARD: shows all your info regarding your last weigh in.INFO: Has charts for BMI, Fat%, Visceral Fat, and Water%.Me: Info about yourself, ability to connect to FitBit or Google Fit. I connected to FitBit. It also allows you to add family members so they can track their own statistics, BUT you can only connect the scale to ONE phone. So everyone who wants to track their weight has to use the same phone and select their own profile when weighing in. This can cause confusion, privacy concerns, and erroneous entries if the wrong profile is selected.APP/SCALE PERCENTAGES – ACCURACY:While I found the app to be very informative, I have no way to verify the percentages it displays. Therefore, I’m using them as a baseline since they are consistent within the “universe” of this particular scale. For example, it shows I have 43.4% body fat. That seems like a lot for me, though I AM overweight, 6’1″ male, and over 56 years old. My BMI reads 30.9 and my water shows up as 43.4%…exactly the same number as my body fat. Is that a coincidence? I don’t know. My visceral fat shows up at 11.5%, which is in the “normal” range but again, I don’t know how to verify these numbers. So I’m using the numbers as my baseline so I can track my trends. I may get some calipers and learn how to take a manual reading so that I can at least test for the BMI accuracy.Another reviewer mentioned the birth date range didn’t allows dates before 1970. It looks like this has been corrected and goes all the way back to at least 1960 (I didn’t look farther than that).OVERALL:I really like this scale. I’m giving it 5 stars because I think it’s better than 4 starts, but probably lands at 4.5 overall. If the percentages are accurate, then this is an amazing device at this price-point. At the very least it gives us something to track.GENERALLY SPEAKING/RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ALL DIGITAL SCALES:Why don’t digital scales come with a way to calibrate them??? A simple dial with a variable resistor could allow us to calibrate to known weights. And why have every digital scale I’ve ever owned (4 of them now) given me a false, first weight? It seems like a very simple fix to have a routine on startup that clears all buffers.RECOMMENDATION:Buy it! This is a great scale for the price and I recommend it. I think it’s 4.5 stars, but giving them the benefit of any doubts and officially logging 5 stars because of the tremendous value you get with this scale.

  3. I put 16 pounds of dumbbells on it and it read anywhere from 15.2 to 15.4The problem is, before this, I was using a scale that was 20 years old and it gave me the same-ish results. So I was expecting a newer scale would be more accurate.Apparently not, so if you’re going to get this because you saw that one picture review that showed one lucky person’s scale display exactly 16 lbs when they placed 16 lb dumbbells on it, then don’t get this.Technology has not changed over the past decades.

  4. Packaged good. Comfortable and great traction to stand on. Not slippery at all. Digital numbers in wondow are big, clear, bright and easy to read. The scale is dead on with accuracy. Was dead on with digital scale in my doctor’s office. I highly recommend.

  5. I purchased this scale because the one that I was using was consistently 5-7 pounds over. It was an old scale so I replaced it with this one. The Arboleaf scale had been accurate since day one until just a year after I had it. Something happened and it was giving me an error message. I reached out to customer support and they told me to send them a video that would show what was happening. This happened about 2 months after the warranty expired. I was hoping for them to tell me how to fix the issue but instead they decided to ship me a new one even though the warranty was expired. This of course made me a happy customer and I can recommend this scale to anyone who is looking to purchase a scale. Great scale and amazing customer service. Thank you Arboleaf.

  6. Great product, easy to set up, accurate

  7. Display is easy to read great contrast. You can step off and weight display remains on long enough to make sure you get it.Switching from lbs. to metric simple just flipp switch on bottom. Great product and price.

  8. The scale was very similar to our old CVS branded one we replaced with this one. Additional features are lighted display and Bluetooth to communicate with the VySync app. The scale doesn’t look like anything special but the display and app for iPhone are good additions. I’m giving 5 stars because the fee app has been a big surprise. It works with the Apple health app for weight and BMI. For BMI you need to load your height in the app. The best surprise is the diet part of the app. You can track everything you’re eating. Simplified by the app using the barcode to scan the package of whatever food/drink packaging and it loads the dietary info from a database showing great details in content like sodium, you only have to select portion size. I’m giving 5 stars for the price, functionally, and the app. The only thing I’d like the developers to add wold be connecting with diet portion to write to Apple health and the ability to read calories burned and heart rate from Apple health. I hope I mentioned the app was FREE, so much more than what I expected when ordering.

  9. I keep this great looking scale in the dinning room so everybody can use it at will.

  10. I saw a scale like this while on vacation in Europe, and I just had to get one for our place. The scale looks great when propped up by the wall in the bathroom, and when I use it, the numbers are very easy to read, even without my glasses. The pictures online do not do it justice. I cannot vouch for accuracy as I do not have a reliable standard to compare with it, but it certainly is consistent and repeatable. I had a cheaper scale in the $20 range, but it was hard to read and seemed to vary day to day. This Inevifit model is a pleasure to use and well worth the additional cost.

  11. Only used for a week but thus far its doing the job–son needs to make weight for wrestling which at this point of the season gives no allowance. The scale has thus far led him to be successful with no surprises.

  12. This is by far the best scale I have ever owned! Aside from it being so sleek and nice (I got it in black), it is accurate (based on my recent visit to my doctor and her scale), and the app is chock full of information (body fat, BMI, skeletal muscle, subcutaneous fat percentages, and more).Just as soon as you step on the scale with your phone in hand, your readings begin. What you see on the app, is what you’ll look down and see on your scale, so… so far, so good on the app doing its job. It’s also the right size. I purchased another right before this one, but it was too little. Meaning, if my husband stepped on it, his toes would hang over the front or his heels off the back. He is actively using, and also enjoying this scale (and its size) by the way.Two of the best features of this scale are…1. Multiple users can download the app and step on it to receive their own personalized readings. This scale is for the entire family. Right now, 4 of my family members are logged into it and we haven’t had any issues (yet).2. Based on your current trend of weight loss, it gives you an approximate number of days in which you should reach your goal, and that is extremely motivating.3. It syncs with Apple Health and other devices such as Fitbit, etc.I would highly recommend this item and it would make an awesome gift for someone you know who is embarking on a new fitness journey!

  13. I love this scale! The item was packaged well and was easy to remove from the box. There are only a few pieces, and they are easy to hook up. The digital display has large numbers with good contrast, making them easy to read even for those with vision issues. The scale is accurate when compared with my old balance beam scale. The platform is wide enough to stand on without losing balance. My only criticism: I was able to mount the digital display on the steel mounting plate BEFORE I screwed it to the wall – but not after. I just can’t seem to get the display flat enough to the wall to hook it in the appropriate holes. Thankfully, I have a towel rack that I can just set the display on. There is also a separate stand for setting the display panel on a countertop, but that doesn’t work with my room. Even with the mounting issue, I still find this a good product.

  14. What I wrote in the headline above. Would recommend, even at this price. You get what you pay for.

  15. I bought this scale expecting to upgrade eventually. I will stick with this one for a very long time. I use this scale mostly for weighing coffee, and I measure in grams. Ideally, I would get decimal increments but I only get whole numbers – that’s fine considering the price. The scale is very accurate. You can test the accuracy by using mL of water which directly correlates to grams (I’m a chemist, also common knowledge on the internet). What really blew me away was the longevity of the scale. I spilled coffee on it this week and it seeped into the internals of the scale. The display became very wonky and I thought I ruined the scale. I decided to try and fix it. I opened the internals, dried the scale, and tried to use it again. The display still wasn’t clear. No problem, I’ll buy a new cheap scale. The next day, however, the scale worked flawlessly. It’s worked all week after taking a considerable amount of water (or worse because it was hot coffee) damage. This thing is awesome! The only complaint I have is one of the Philips head screws on the bottom was stripped. I couldn’t unscrew that one so I broke the plastic around it to get in and dry the inside. Not an issue really as I have 7 other screws holding the bottom together. For around $10, this is an incredible scale.

  16. A scale is a scale is a scale, right? Wrong! THIS scale is a huge cut above the others I have owned. I have had an electronic scale for years and it wasn’t bad but it was not all that accurate…it seemed temperamental. Sometimes I would get on and off three times and different weight every time…which was frustrating to no end. This scale cost just a tad more than the others on Amazon, but more than a tad better I am sure. Plus it is the only one that I saw that had a solid 5 star rating. You ‘calibrate’ it once…and all that involves is to tap it till 00 comes up. After that, if you don’t move it, you just get on it and your weight is measured. No matter how many times you get on and off, it is the same weight. If you touch the wall and take off a couple of pounds, it shows that, then let go of the wall, it goes right back to your accurate weight. If you move your feet around on it, the same weight! I love this thing!

  17. This scale is so accurate. The only thing is that it needs to be plugged into the wall to work. That’s sort of inconvenient. Other than that it’s great.

  18. First off, the reviews here seem to be combined from all their different models. So to be clear, I am writing about the model with Bluetooth and wifi. The scale by itself is great. I love all the information it reads and I also really like that it keeps track of all your previous weigh ins on the vesync app. Even if the app is closed, I weight in and when ever I open the app it syncs and updates. Now to the things I don’t like…..1. It does not always sync to my Samsung health, it does so only when it feels like it which is half the time. I’ve had best luck when both apps are open at same time. Sometimes it goes in instantly into Samsung health and sometimes it refuses even if you weigh in multiple times.2. When it does sync with Samsung health it’s a joke! Only information it sends to Samsung health is weight, BMI, and body fat. What happened to all the other parameters? Also if they fix bugs with syncing to Samsung health and showing more than 3 parameters I will give another star. I really hope they fix these issues with an update!

  19. It is very easy to set up. The app is easy to set up as well. Connect easily to the health app on my Apple Watch and other apps.

  20. I liked that the seller made contact once the order was received. The process was quick and product as advertised. Liked doing business with a small business. Only wish you could purchase an American made product. I hate sending money to China.
