Not only are the texture of the bristles soft, but they are also strong enough to massage the scalp without damaging the hair. The brush is also easy to store in the shower.
I don’t know how I lived without a scalp massager before, but I’m glad I don’t have to anymore! I have very thick, wavy to curly hair and chronic dandruff. Needless to say, my hair can be difficult to maintain. But this tool is going to make my haircare much easier. My arms get worn out while shampooing my hair because I usually wash my hair weekly, so I make my hair as clean as possible when I do shampoo or co wash. This tool cut my shampooing time in half, I was amazed how quickly it did the job. I also used it to distribute my conditioner through my hair, which it did well, and to detangle my hair as I go so less goes into the shower drain. I can also use less product now, I won’t need to use as much shampoo to get my hair as clean as I like. The bristles on this massager are very flexible and soft, they are not hard or stiff and do not hurt at all. Even though the bristles are soft and gentle, they are very sturdy and was able to easily withstand my own not so gentle scrubbing. It didn’t pull when combing through tangled hair, either. It’s also easy to grip, it fits my hand very well. As long as it’s gripped properly, it stays put. I’m very satisfied and I highly recommend this particular scalp massager.
I have an extreme amount of individually fine hairs that act as wicks for my oily scalp. Itchy, greasy buildup and sporatic folliculitis have been a constant in my life. I’ve always had some form of dandruff – brushing or just shaking my hair always causes a fine snow to fall. Typically this isn’t severe enough to warrant medicated shampoos but I have had stretches of time when this was necessary. It’s difficult to get shampoo down into my scalp & often my hair won’t feel 100% clean after a shower.Based on all the positive reviews I bought the two pack for around $7. And what a difference! The morning after the first wash I brushed huge flakes out of my hair. I called my hairdresser to make sure I wasn’t causing a larger problem and she assured me that was just what I had hanging out on my scalp. A few washes later and there are no flakes of any kind. My scalp feels like it can breathe and my hair stays cleaner for longer. I haven’t noticed any blocked follicles or sore/itchy patches, either.I knocked one star off because I think I’d prefer a handle I can slip my hand into, but other than that this brush yields great results for such little money. A great product. I’m very pleased.
The plastic bristles were much harder than I thought they were going to be. They are harder than a hairbrush. However it still does the job! I think something softer could still massage the scalp too though.It arrived on time and as described.

So I bought this because I saw some “regrow your hair” company using something very similar. Sure enough, when you first use it, you will notice that your scalp feels tender the next day. It will hurt a little bit. But from what I gather, it’s lossening up the blood flow and the scalp. Doesn’t hurt to used it after the first day or two. I am a little bit aggressive though because I am trying to keep the blood flow going so I don’t keep losing my hair. Great product.

I have never used this type of product but where we live the water is really hard and my hair and scalp are a mess. Several people have recommended scalp brush so I figured I’d give it a try. The price was right and I liked the colors on this one so it seemed like a good place to start. It has definitely helped my hair just from the first few uses, I notice my scalp isn’t nearly as dry and flakey and my hair feels so much softer. I gave the other one to my 8 year old daughter who sometimes has a hard time getting her hair washed thoroughly on her own, and she it a big fan as well! I wish I had bought these sooner just to get her self sufficient in washing her own hair! The only thing I don’t like is the hand hold. I’ve always had a problem with dry scalp that causes me to have flakes and itchiness if I don’t exfoliate and rinse my shampoo and conditioner thoroughly enough (I find that I get the best results by using T-sal Neutrogena shampoo, alternated with Neutrogena Healthy Scalp Soothe & Calm shampoo, combined with Neutrogena Healthy Scalp Smooth & Calm conditioner with tea tree oil). For some reason I had never thought about getting a scalp exfoliator/massager, but I recently decided to buy one and chose this one based on the good reviews and Amazon’s top recommendation. I have not been disappointed! It’s a nice looking product with a convenient loop for hanging on one of my suction hooks. Its easy to hold with the handle and I never find my hand slipping loose. It runs through my hair easily and doesn’t creat tangles, although I do have a pixie cut that would be too short to tangle anyway so I don’t know how it would work with long hair. It’s just the right level of firmness. Not so hard that I feel like I’m scratching up my scalp, but not so soft that it doesn’t feel like it’s actually loosening any dead skin. I can tell it’s really giving my scalp a good amount of exfoliation – much better than just using my fingernails. If I rinse very well after scrubbing, I find that I have little to no flakes and very little itchiness, which is an amazing new experience for me! I’ve always been self-conscious about making sure no flakes are showing in my hair (even though they’re there if you really part my hair and look at the scalp level). And it has always driven me crazy having so much itchiness when I’m trying to sleep and then I scratch my head and up getting flakes all over my black pillowcases (yuck!). Now I don’t have to deal with all of that anymore. It’s such a relief! Last but not least, it feels amazing to use! As soon as I start scrubbing (circular motions feel the best), it gives me shivers and feels like I’m getting a professional scalp massage! I absolutely love it and look forward to using it. I have a shower seat so that I can sit down while shaving my legs, so I’m able to just sit there and scrub my scalp for a long time and just relax and enjoy it. Overall, I would highly recommend this product and I’m so glad I purchased it!!!

Now I am not one to review many products, by this one is worth the time to write one out. I thoroughly enjoyed using this scalp scrubber. I have used it on a dry scalp to massage and promote circulation. I also took it into the shower and used it with shampoo. It helps me reduced the amount of shampoo I used since it really helps me lather it into my scalp. I feel like my scalp is cleaner. The product is easy to hold and doesn’t slip in the shower.
My son had a scaly dandruff patch and using this – in conjunction with a good dry scalp shampoo – keeps it at bay. He loves the scalp massage he gets when I apply the shampoo. I have my own that I use to evenly apply conditioner and comb through hair dye before rinsing out. These are great and will get years of use!
This product honestly surprised me at how good it works. (Made my scalp feel minty fresh tbh) It lathers my shampoo really well and my hair feels really nice after. I had brain surgery and have poor range of motion in my arms and also get exhausted really quickly. The shower is the hardest thing I have to do. I get so tired, especially washing my hair. My mom has to stand by as it is, but I’m finally able to do it myself. It’s just exhausting.I saw this on a buzzfeed “things you need to buy” type list and I thought I’d give it a try. I really like it. It does the scrubbing and distribution of bubbles for me. The nubbies are not super flexible so it can really scrub your scalp, I’d imagine, but I’m still sensitive so I kinda go lightly. Some reviews mentioned tangles, but I lift it from area to area so I haven’t found that to be an issue.Also, I thought for fun I’d try it on my cats and they all wanted to be next and they love the stupid thing so I had to get them one too. I highly recommend this product. I don’t know how I lived without it. I have a lot of hair and it’s thick. I didn’t feel like shampoo was really penetrating through all my hair or that I was getting all of the conditioner out of my hair. Using my fingers just wasn’t cutting it. I also color my hair with vivid hair color so using my fingers to massage my scalp was turning my nails green/blue from hair dye. This takes care of all of that. My hair feels cleaner and softer. Works great for combing conditioner through hair and detailing while you fully rinse it out of your hair. Feels great on scalp too.
