Best Baby Dolls For 2 Year Old Girls In 2022

JULIAN WANG

I am working 10 years in Technology Field and my passion is review to find best product

  1. Ok first of all I want to say I do really like this knife. It’s very nice looking, the mycarta scales look awesome, mosaic pins are colorful and the spine work on the knife is intricate but not too busy. As far as I can tell the only negative is; I can’t see how this knife is actually hand hammered Damascus steel and not just a steel blank with a wavy painted patter pressed into it. The acid etch does not show off a pattern on the tang and the etch also conveniently stops where the sharpened bevel starts. If it were true Damascus or patterned steel the wavy pattern would be visible across the entire blade not just parts. I highly doubt the blade was masked in these areas during the acid dip, there’s zero reason for that. As well as that, the surface feel is nothing like actual Damascus.. The surface of this blade is textured as if a pattern was “pressed” into it. The sides should be smooth and flat after grinding and sanding. All that being said even though I don’t believe the knife is patterned hammered steel, it is well balanced, sturdy, sharp, great looking and did I mention only $39.00 which makes it an absolute steal. The sheath can be worn horizontally in the small of your back or vertically off your hip.. It is comfortable as well.. I sat at my kitchen table and in my lazy boy kicked back and it felt fine.. I will be buying more of these and unfortunalty unless MAAN can convince me otherwise continuing to only give 4 out of 5 stars because of the Damascus shikanery. All in all I would recommend this blade to friends and I hope this review was helpful.

  2. So let me start. I love this knife. I wanted a nice looking knife that I can use when I am working outside and this is perfect! There are some very very minor ‘flaws’ (I hate using that word but can’t think of anything else), but nothing that effects the performance of the knife. When reviewing knives I look at the very minor details. Sometimes those can separate ok knives from great knives. In this case, this is one of the great knives I’ve gotten. Normally I buy SOG but after getting this knife I would not hesitate in getting more knives from GCS Custom Knives.First, the weight and balance. This gets 5 stars. the knife is perfectly balanced right where the index finger lies. If I have to rotate the knife into an ice pick hold it is really easy to do that one handed. It is also a very light knife. When I saw the thickness of the blade (about 1/4″) I was concern that it would be heavy but it is super light.Second, sharpness and durability. This gets 5 stars. The knife is razor-sharp when I unpacked it (be careful when unpacking). After unpacking, the knife cut cleaning thru a sheet of paper like it wasn’t there. I went outside and split some small wood pieces that I had (using a baton) and it is still razor-sharp. The primary grind of the knife is a full hollow grind, and the edge bevel is perfect for cutting but I would do a tone of chopping with it. I would use the knife in cutting small pieces of wood using the Batoning method. but I wouldn’t try chopping small branches.Third, the handle and feeling. This gets 4.75 stars. It feels great in the hand. It’s borderline just right for my hand (I wear large gloves), but it does feel a tad small when holding it in my right hand normally. My pinkie finger feels crowded. I do have a bone condition that causes my pinkie to go to a slight angle, so that would probably be the reason. But it does not affect usage when holding in my right hand. When I hold it in my left hand normally it feels just right. However when I hold the knife as an ice pick it feels great. The scales have a great texture to them and are nice and smooth. I also love the texturing they did along the spine right above the handle. When holding the knife, you can put your thumb on it and it gives me better control. Overall, I can use this knife for a while without worrying about it slipping out of hand.Forth, looks. This gets 4.5 stars. For the handle I love the mosaic pins. There are some small ‘flaws’ though, or small mistakes that were overlooked. On one of the mosaic the 2 out of the 5 small brass pins that line the inside don’t make it all the way thru the pin, so you see 5 on one side and 3 on the other (see attached pictures). I do love the look of the scales. They are made from Micarta but have a nice wood grain look to them. For the blade, it looks great. I can tell that some (or most) of the finishing was hand done. I love the texturing on the blade, and I have a feeling that is what contributes to the great balance and weight. However when looking down the false edge of the blade, it ‘appears’ that the blade may be warped very very very tiny to the right. Looking closer the blade does not have a warp, it’s just a very small amount of unevenness in the grinds of the false edge. The angles are close but off just a tad, they don’t effect usage or the looks (unless you look really close) at all.And last, the sheathe. It’s a good case. It can be worn sideways like in the pictures advertised. It also does have a belt loop so it can be worn vertically (on the right hand hip so you have to cross the left to unsheathe it). I sort of wish that they designed the sheathe a little differently. The sheathe does include a sharpening stone. It is a very course stone and sort of awkward using. It is kept in the pouch on the sheathe. It’s size is sort of awkward to use and mine wasn’t completely flat so I will probably never use it, I have better sharpening stones. I sort of wish that they did not include it and would remove the pouch from the case. Doing that would allow the straps to be slightly redesigned so that you could flip the sheathe to be used left or right handed when on the belt horizontal. So, all considering I really wish Amazon would allow half stars because I would definitely give it 4.5 out of five. Normally I round up, but with the design of the sheathe I just couldn’t.I totally would recommend this knife for anyone looking for a nice fix blade to use when doing yard work or working in the woods. I am very, very pleased with it.

  3. Didn’t have high expectations after reading all the reviews. It was fair zome points around the scales and pomel weren’t that great but for the money it was good. It is scary sharp.D2 steel is a good steal. The horizontal carry sheath is a plus. My esee6 will carry (barely) it. One strap is a tad to long but there is room to put another snap..sharpening stone is not realy what I will use. It might come in handy in a pinch. Sheaths along average about 29 and up for horizontal carry. So it is a ok deal.

  4. Got this for my nephew for Christmas. He absolutely loved it! Said it was perfectly balanced, good grip, and the Damascus pattern was really neat.

  5. I belive they forgot the little sharping stone but happy with the knife.

  6. great product, fast shipping

  7. The media could not be loaded.  I bought this knife specifically to be used as a camp knife. It came with the sheath (the button is plain, not as advertised in the photos) and in an oiled wrap. As an advertised damascus blade for the price, I was not expecting superior craftsmanship. The tip was not sharp upon arrival, though, the blade had a decent sharpness. I took it to a sharpener, anyways, as I used it during a weekend camping trip.PROS- Sheath is thick and sturdy, not flimsy leather like expected- Good handle length for smaller framed people- Heavy, reliable weight- Can take a strike from hammer/back of hatchet- Blade capable of splitting smaller pieces of wood for fire starting- Aesthetically pleasing etchCONS- Sparks produced when striking flint are not the most desired- Handle may be a bit small for larger framed people- Looked dirty/used in some areas upon arrival(*photo)- Handle/tang pin sticks out(*photo&video)- Lack of sharp tip(*video)- Unsure if true DamascusYou can use the video attached to check for some of the visual imperfections.

  8. The sheath is awkward and bulky, making it impractical to carry. The knife is dull but extremely comfortable to hold, and evenly balanced.

  9. After seeing this knock off blade @$35. I had to check it out. It does make me want the benchmade, knowing it will be even better. The main feature that pulled me in was the small tek lok on the kydex holster. I have been curious about tek loks and possibly using them for carry. As for the holster, it is great looking and well crafted but it could use more retention. There is retention just not enough and there is no way to adjust it. But it is worth having if only for the looks.

  10. Good basic field knife…once you work the edge to your liking…impressive sheath, option of carry configuration, and well made of quality leather…grip shape works well for my hand, and overall a nice enough knife to give as a gift.

  11. The handle just didn’t fit right in my hand. A little small, not the manufacturers fault, but it just didn’t feel right in my hand. I’m a regular size guy with regular hands. And carrying thos in a scout carry is very uncomfortable. Softer leather would be a start but a less bulky sheath would be great.

  12. First look, this a very heavy and well made knife. Very sharp , full tang blade with a sturdy handle. The sheath is sturdy and is adjustable depending on how you want to wear the knife (vertical or horizontal). Also, you can adjust for 1″-2″ thick belt. Only complaint, handle isn’t for larger hands. I will update on durability later.

  13. I have read quite a few reviews of this knife here and elsewhere and find myself struggling to comprehend people. This knife is available in 4 sizes, and the dimensions for every aspect is listed, so buy the knife that is the size you are looking for. The grip is perfect and the micarta just grips better when it gets wet. Honestly, if this grip hurts your hand you don’t spend enough time outdoors to need a knife. The blade coating I am indifferent about, but if using it with a ferro rod is your concern, just sand the powdercoating off of a section of the spine. The 1095 hc steel can rust so if that is a concern search for the esee4 in stainless. You will give up toughness but gain hardness which will break sooner than 1095 but won’t rust. I personally own quite a few carbon steel knives and rust has never been an issue – typically they stain almost a black color over time. This is a great knife produced by a great American company, by great American people with hands down the best warranty policy I think I have ever seen on anything. Just go to esee’s website and read the warranty policy, that alone is reason enough to buy one of their knives. At this price it really is a no brainer.

  14. Off-Grid knives are a great affordable EDC that is made to last!

  15. This is a easy piece that I ever own. It is easy to attached the clip to your belt but you have to have a thin belt. Anything thicker you might have a hard time clipping it. Sharp enough that if you accidentally cut yourself. You can get pretty good size cut. I have to carry this around because of my job. As a Bay Area Dogwalker. You have to protect yourself from all the entitled looney and some high as a kite homeless ppl. Not to protect from wildlife like coyote. Most wildlife are smart enough to not deal with human. It’s the human that you always have to watch out for. It is also small enough that no one can see you carried anything. Highly recommended with the price not overly too expensive.

  16. I loved the box the only negative thing I’d say is that if it’s pulled out of the box it comes apart.

  17. It arrived sealed in it’s box Inside two layers of packaging plastic drenched in oil. That’s good btw. Very well protected. It’s super sharp, with some good weight to it, also nothing jiggles or moves. A solid piece. Would definitively recommend.

  18. I just received this so I don’t know how resilient it is. The knife itself is well made, comfortable and sharp. I’ve been looking for a long knife like this but most are over 100$ and I don’t make a lot of money. The sheath is well made too so that tell’s you a lot. I’m very happy with it…

  19. I wanted a light weight neck knife that could be easily used without having to take the entire necklace off; this Izula fits this bill. With one hand I can unsheath it. It’s always there, at the ready. NICE! Its original sheath is quality & has a strong hold on the knife.I have medium/large hands & this original sized Izula is a hair on the petite size, but it’s fine. A bigger knife would be too heavy to wear every day. Besides, it’s a knife that your index finger naturally rests on the top of the blade, & this gives all your other digits a place on the handle. I can imagine this blade would be an excellent hunting & skinning knife for this reason & it’s large bellied cutting edge. The tiny micarda handle scales are ordered separately. Initially I ordered them from a seller called Prime Valley on Amazon. After waiting 7 days I checked my oder & Prime Valley had not even shipped my handle scales out! I was fed-up & cancelled the order, & was forced to order them through a knife dealer’s website. ****So, do NOT give Prime Valley your hard earned $.These Esee micarda scales only come in an off white color that they call “green” for some reason. However, this neutral color lends itself well to leather dying them any color that you want. I chose black so the knife would be less noticeable, since it hangs on the outside of my clothes. The dying was super fast & easy, the micarda soaks it up & doesn’t leave residue on one’s hands. It’s permanent. So, yes. I highly recommend this sweet little blade & the micarda scales! 5🌟

  20. To be honest I’m a bit of a blade snob and I’m always fishing for cheap alternatives so I don’t cry when I take something out and it gets damaged. Oddly enough most of my more expensive ones don’t get much use. That being said for the price I feel it’s very worth the purchase. Not to sure it’s actually D2 steel but the steel doesn’t seem cheap. The people who complain about the tip don’t undertand the purpose of the blade it’s a defence poker not a working blade. Hand size is comfortable and thickness of g10 (and I believe it to be real g10) is fitting and I have medium to large hands. The ring is positioned well and the kydex is actually quite nice and the retention is amazing almost too amazing yet it will wear with time so that’s acceptable. The clip on the back some complain about but I currently have it oriented in scout carry on my back and it’s fairly close to my waist if I really wanted it deep cover I could swap out for the straps to pull it in but I definitely don’t hate the clip. Overall I’d say pull the trigger and buy it the knife in my opinion could be sold just over 30 and I wouldn’t be upset. Only thing I’m not pleased with is out of the box blade edge is to be desired but again it’s a poker so it is what it is. I’ve spent a little time working the edge and have it pretty solid but not the end of the world.

  21. Very impressed with the build quality of this blade. Stamped D2 steel w non reflective corrosive resistant coating. Slightly under 4mm thickness. Torx T8 fasteners. Nice feel in the hand for a concealed blade. May be too small for large hands but length for concealed weapon is good. Kydex sheath could be made a little better as per previous reviews. Not sure what others were speaking of regarding blade deployment with one hand but I was easily able to thumb release easily from belt mount without a problem. Also fits well w a secure firm mount inside sheath. Sheath has a nice button release for belt mount and a lock so that no accidental release con occur. Blade comes sharpened and all I had to add was a little whetstone touch up. Decent blade for the price. Not my first choice for tactical fixed blade like a Zero Tolerance quality blade, however for daily use should be fine.

  22. For the price, this knife is a no-brainer to get. The sheath is excellent, the knife is superbly balanced and resilient, holds a reasonable edge, and I’m not going to be heartbroken when use makes it succumb to wear, tear, and rust. If the company is still making these, I’d get another copy of this knife to replace it.The slim profile and outstanding grip make the knife well-suited to my tactical needs. The one and only change I would prefer is that the blade’s spine be partially serrated for advanced knife maneuvers. Still, I absolutely love this knife!

  23. The knife showed up fairly sharp, so no real complaint there, however, the way it is positioned in the pictures is not correct. The sheath is for a left hand draw if you want to have the edge down. In order to have it as a right hand draw, you have to turn it upside down. The sheath will sag a bit because of that, but overall it isn’t detrimental to drawing it out. In my opinion, the aesthetic is what is lacking, but the blade not resting on its edge does tend to make them stay sharp longer. Overall it was decent for the price, but should probably offer an actual right hand sheath if that’s what they are showing.

  24. I had a neck knife for a few years and it was low quality but I got very used to having it at all times. One day recently a friend used it because of whatever the situation was, he never tossed it back to me. Anyway, I’ve been left with a neck sheath ever since. I remembered looking at neck knives and had this one saved in a list. I love this little knife. Super comfortable, and top quality in both materials and craftsmanship. I’ll have to wait to give a reliability rating until I put in a good year. I will come back and comment before that if it breaks but I doubt it. I did replace the chain it came with for my chain I used for my former EDC neck knife. It’s just heavy bead chain used on dog tags. It’s never let me down. Anyway, great knife at a great price.I’m buying a few for Christmas gifts.

  25. I bought this knife in 2014 and carried it horizontal carry on the back of my belt for years. I eventually wore out the sheath. Over the years it got a little loose so I dropped it in some hot water and pinched it closed a little tighter and it did fine. I’ve since replaced it with another CRKT as I wanted to be able to carry it on a 2″ belt and the SPEW only comes with a 1″ belt sheath. It still kicks around my house as a very useful knife. I love the straight cutting edge as it is fantastic to sharpen, holds and edge will and makes a GREAT EDC

  26. So… this knife is about what you’d expect for the price. It’s small, it’s not super sharp, and the plastic sheath is not of great quality. The knife does stay in the sheath well, which is a plus for me. It’s even a little tough to pull out, which I also like. Here is a list of pros and consProsIt’s plenty small. Which is what I wanted. If I could buy again I’d probably go with the normal size instead of the mini. But it’s growing on me.Sheath holds knife tightBlade sharpens up nicelyEven with the small size, handle has nice gripCons-Case has a pocket/belt clip that will not stay on your pocket when trying to pull the knife.Clip screw will easily strip out plastic threads if you over tighten. Plastic threads are bound to strip out eventually.Pretty nice knife for the price. I did modify my sheath by removing factory belt clip and adding an ulti clip. This takes some drilling and filing, but once you get the ulti clip on you have a tightly fastened clip. Screw won’t strip out because of the hardware that comes with ulti clip. This clip clamps to your pocket making the knife easy to draw and sheath stays put with zero movement. This new clip made this knife go from 3 stars to 5 stars for me. If you have some tools and a little mechanical ability, I’d suggest getting an ulti clip like the one in my pictures.

  27. Really impressed with this blade setup for backpacking bushcraft even self defense if needed. Handle feels great in my average beefy hand, even my wife’s smaller hand. Case is nice and quiet strong. Take a little bit of figuring it out to adjust it tho to your needs. Striker and cut out for the striker is perfect and effective. Would have liked and dimple in the center of the handle for a secondary fire starter easy enough to do yourself maybe. Overall great sharp blade right out the box forever warranty from buck can’t say enough good about it really.

  28. Many of us here have likely seen or used a Victorinox knife or multitool at some point in our lives, ever heard anything really negative about them? There’s a reason! They make awesome and lasting stuff. This little guy dangles from your keychain unassumingly while looking cool. At some point, you’re going to need a toothpick or tweezers or something to cut with and this knife is on the job. For the price and features, it’s king of the hill. Just get it!

  29. The knife itself seems to be very high quality… The sheath, which was initially a selling point for me, is overly complicated. I loved the idea of being able have it mounted horizontally and out of the way, but I’m not sure why they made the horizontal loops into straps that wrap around the sheath one and a half times vs just attaching a couple loops to the back. The pouch for the sharpening stone is also bulky and glued on crooked.

  30. I bought this knife because of its small stealthy size. Good things to know is that there are belt spacers in the sheath so you can fit a variety of belt widths and it’s very easy to turn the sheath from top mount to side mount. All in all I’m happy with my purchase.
