OK, let’s clear up a few things:1) I am a real buyer, was not given this pillow, was not paid to review this pillow. There’s no way I’m doing any of that.2) I want everyone to know exactly what I’m giving an opinion on. This “Beckham Hotel” pillow is the very same as others called “Sleep Restoration Super Plush Gel-Fiber Filled Pillows”. That’s what the package the two pillows (costing $35 total) came in reads, and there’s a small bar-coded sticker with tiny writing indicating the Beckham Hotel re-branding.3) There’s NO smell. There’s NO mildew. They arrived factory clean and shipped in a nice, zipped plastic container bag.4) They arrive dead flat. When you remove them, they start to fluff up. I’d say after an hour or so they are ready to use. Fluff them a bit, and you can sleep on them right away. It’s not necessary to put them in a dryer and in fact it could be detrimental. Not sure.5) I waited a month to write this because I wanted to be sure I liked the pillows. I do!6) I had some doubts at first because I thought they’d be too soft, but after a couple of nights I would now describe them as soft, yet firm enough to support my head and neck correctly. I start out sleeping on my side and of course, at some point end up on my back, and then often back on my side.7) They’re heavy enough to no move around, but not heavy like a (solid) memory foam pillow is. They stay put in other words.8) I purchased the queen sized ones. Now, it was sort of interesting to me that these are 20 inches wide, and yet a queen size pillowcase is also 20 inches wide. Yet, a pillow is quite high and a pillowcase is of course – flat. This means it requires some effort to squeeze the pillow into the pillowcase. BUT, perhaps this makes the pillow seem a bit firmer than my initial impression of it was in paragraph #6. At any rate, it works and these have worked out well for me.9) I woke up in a hotel about 4 years ago with neck pain and had it ever since. All sorts of chiropractic efforts, daily neck stretches, painkillers, etc. just didn’t seem to get rid of it. I ditched my Tempur-Pedic s-shaped solid memory foam pillow and tried several other pillows I got locally. They all went back. I got these pillows, continued on the daily neck stretches and now I’m feeling fine with no more neck pain. I noticed about a week ago I was waking up with no more neck pain. That’s a relief.That’s about all I can tell you Amazon shoppers. Buying a pillow is a wilderness of choice. I spent a LOT of hours on here looking. And of course pillows, and the comfort of them, is very personal and subjective. I can only say, for me, these worked out. is it over stuffed or something else? Overall it’s a decent pillow, but it doesn’t feel like it is only feathers. It’s much harder than feather pillows I had in the past. I do get an okay night sleep but it could be better. It’s just a lot more compact and hard than I expected. It mostly stays cool which is a great plus. I’m tempted to open it up and see what’s actually inside it.. there are definitely feathers in there but I think something else is in there as well. Overall not bad but I was looking for something softer and I’m a little worried that this will harden more over time, as all synthetic pillows do. Sometimes in the middle of night I just have to switch pillows because it gives me a bit of a neck ache because I can’t sink into it like a real feather pillow. Perhaps it’s just over stuffed.

I first tried one of these in a mattress store, and knew I needed to order one. Found better price here. Nice cooling, and very supportive

It has been years since I bought any pillows. Understandably, the filling in my pillows had lost integrity and the pillows had become sacks of loose flab. I also did not realize what pillows cost these days. Well, I needed sheets, pillows and a bath mat, so I drove to the store with the initials BB&B, figuring that was the place to buy bedroom and bathroom stuff. Wasn’t very happy with the selection. Was shocked by the prices. They had some really fancy pillows at $150 a pop, some pretty nice pillows at $50 a pop and some decent pillows at $25 a pop, but the choices were pretty limited. In all honesty, I could not detect $125 worth of difference between their best pillows and their worst pillows. I decided to look on Amazon before buying anything. I found these pillows at $18 a pair. I was skeptical of the quality, because I believe that you get what you pay for. I was skeptical of the degree of support the pillows would offer, because the pillows are shipped flattened out like a pancake in a vacuum bag. I figured that they would compress again when you used them. But I figured at that price, I could use the pillows as fill material in shipping boxes if they were ill suited for bedroom use. I ordered two pair. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. When you take the pillows out of their bag, they fluff up to five or six times their volume in the bag, and they retain that volume pretty well. After fluffing my pillows manually, I put them in my dryer (set on low) to heat and fluff them further. My old pillows were in really sad shape, so maybe I am not the best judge of quality. But these pillows are a great improvement over the ones I had been using. They definitely are worth $9 apiece. I can’t claim they are as good as the $50 pillows I liked, because I can’t make a side-by-side comparison. But from what I can remember of how those pillows felt, these pillows are just as good. I am sure glad I did not pay $200 to replace my old pillows.

Having always used down pillows gifted to me by my mother I was apprehensive about buying pillows without feeling them and even more so about getting poly fill but the price was right so I gave it a shot. I am pleased to say these pillows are very comfy. They offer great support for back and side sleepers and are great for those of us who need a pillow between our knees when side sleeping. They start out a little stiff but I have had mine for a week and they are “breaking down” nicely. Would definitely buy again.

My pillow gave me more confort than this fancy pillow. It’s all your head.

I’ve bought 2 of these things, one seat cushion for my elderly Mother and one bed pillow to use on my sofa for napping. The never seem to go flat and they offer support thats easy on pressure points.The only drawbacks are that they are very heavy, you can’t tuck your arm under one and bunch it up and of course just as it doesn’t seem to get indents, it also doesn’t fluff up. It lays there and is a cushion unto itself. But it’s quite comfy in its own way, I use the one on the sofa with a regular pillow on top, in retrospect I wish I’d gotten the higher one. But I like it and if you don’t need to squish and hug your pillows but like constant even support, you may like it too.

I used it couple of times so far and it is very comfortable.

Maybe I’m getting old or maybe I have a sensitive neck, but either way, I had been having a hard time sleeping. My head and neck hurt so much all day from my pillows. I couldn’t use pillows that were too flat, I needed more support. I couldn’t use pillows that were firmer (like bamboo or memory foam), they made the back of my head sore. I went through so many pillows, and felt like goldilocks. I was driving my husband crazy spending money on pillows and then hating them after a week. Until I got this Casper pillow…. I have never slept so well. It’s so soft, yet I have so much support for my neck. It stays fluffy night after night and has such a high quality feel to it. My husband was so impressed he got one for himself, and its actually helped with his snoring, don’t ask me how. I highly recommend!!

Let me tell you. I fully expected to write a poopy review. Fully expected these to be a giant waste of money. Fully expected to return. I have not had a great nights sleep in a very long time. I’ve spent (wasted non refundable money) trying to find a quality pillow. I googled. And googled some more and the Purple pillow kept popping up. Then I saw the price and almost choked on my coffee. Then I read the reviews. Could these be as good as they claimed? They had a good return policy. I took a chance and ordered. I’m here to tell you. They are. The only thing I can say that may be negative would be I don’t think they are a “cooling” pillow. Maybe I just sleep hot? But they are everything else and more. I waited 2 months to make sure I still loved it as much as I did the day I opened it. This was a game changer and I have slept wonderfully since the day they arrived. They shipped quickly too. If you’re on the fence. Spend the money. You won’t regret a single nights sleep on these pillows.

Suuuuuper comfy. Just the right amount of squish and fluff

I bought these as replacement pillows for some older ones ready to be retired, and to be honest, bought them for the price. It was a ridiculously good discount and I figured, “two pillows for the price of one at retail — why not?” They’re sealed in a vacuum-compressed bag down to almost nothing, and when you open them, you’ll think, “there’s no way in hell these will be comfortable.” I was surprised – in fact, they’re great for my compressed disc and neck pain. Hard to beat for the price – and a lot better — and cheaper — than many of the ones I’ve purchased at my local BB&B.

I’m 6 months pregnant and have chronic pinch nerves in my neck and shoulders. I haven’t slept through the night in months. I broke down one night and bought probably 5 pillows on Amazon. I saw this one and bought it as more of a gag item considering the high price tag. I tried all of the other pillows first and they were okay but wasn’t much better than my normal pillow. I tried this one and on the first night I fell asleep in minutes, had vivid dreams, and only woke up for brief seconds. I’m on day 5 and I’m only seeing improvements. Guess I won’t be return after all. Worth every dang penny!

My wife and I stayed in a hotel in Oklahoma three years ago…She claimed that the hotel provided one of the best nights of sleep she has had in years because of the pillows. So I called, found out the brand of pillows, and bought them right here on Amazon. We replaced them once after a year and then when I tried to order again I could not get them.So I was on a quest to find a replacement for the magical, sleep granting pillows. I’ve tried a few and these are the only ones that are even close.Are they the same? NoAre they better? No ideaDo they provide a wonderful night of sleep? AbsolutelyI highly recommend this product.
