This cart is the best. I don’t use it to go fishing, I use it to load all my beach gear. I’m completely blown away by how light it is. It’s so light even my GF can lift it on her own off the bed of our truck (cart slightly loaded with equipment) on days she goes to the beach by herself. Whats even more ridiculous is that because of these awesome wheels, Pulling or Pushing it on the sand (fluffy sugar sand or wet) takes zero effort. Yes I said you can Push it too, I didn’t even think about it since everyone is used to pulling carts but I turned it around and pushed it using the handle and it was even easier because now you dont have to worry about your feet getting whacked. The best part about this cart though (did hours and hours of research before buying it) are the fishing rod holders. One, you can put your sun umbrella into the fishing rod holder and BAM! you have a mobile umbrella you can move when the tide chases after you. No more digging or screwing into the ground anymore and me personally, I have a big Ion jobrocker speaker on the cart (buy this too!) so I move it close to me when I’m in the water and since the umbrella is in the rod holder, it also shades all my speaker and all my stuff. The second best part about the fishing rod hodlers is that you can buy PVC pipes and BUILD extra shelves, side carriers, etc. and attach them to the cart by inserting it into the rod holders. My plan is to build a shelf on the back so that now I have extra storage and I will be adding side racks that go above the wheels using the two side fishing rod holders to hold paddleboard(s) and body board(s). I’m even thinking about building a side shelf/platform (since you can swap out your awesome creations) for one of our dogs to chill on so that he will be off the hot sand and under the umbrella shade once hes all tired and hot. In case you are wondering if it takes a lot of work to build with PVC , it doesn’t, it’s like Legos for adults and takes no effort (now if you are building a cart from scratch with PVC, good luck with that). The only downside with this cart is the wheels that come with it aren’t meant to be used on rough terrain for extended periods of time such as asphalt or concrete with rocks and random sharp things (more on this at the end). They are made for the sand and boy do they shine. I was lucky enough to buy this when it was still $250 (was more expensive on other websites likes cabellas) but it seems like right after I bought this, everyone else bought one too and it has shot up in price due to supply and demand or is unavailable in general. If you really want this cart, just buy the same cart that come with the other set of wheels for like $100+ less (they are always in stock) and buy either these wheels for $140 (kind of ridiculous and is why this version is so much more expensive) or buy the other versions of this type of wheel for WAY LESS and save money (the gray ones I’ve been seeing everywhere).The cheaper version of this cart comes with the wheels made for offroading, going on concrete or asphalt. I will actually be buying those wheels so I can swap them out when needed which is ridiculously easy because the wheel axle is just a metal rod that goes through the cart and the wheels and you lock the wheels in with pins. What that means also is that when it comes to maintenance and what can rust from saltwater, there are no bearings or parts in the wheel like heavy ones that can rust easily or fill with water. all I do is spray it off with a hose really quick and I’m done and since the cart is made for fishing the frame is made covered/made for the purpose of saltwater (definitely rinse it off though saltwater beats everything)

The wheels are not pneumatic like they advertise. They are plastic and won’t last long. I hoping I can get about 10 uses.Don’t expect to carry more than 70 pounds of gears.But the price/value is right. I did not expect much for the price.

I love the size and structure of this cart. The large wheels help roll on sand, and up/down stairs. The straps are long and strong. The wheels are easy to remove for storage. The first cart received had aa bent tube, where the wheel axel goes in, but Amazon allowed an immediate exchange. I was thankful for its use. I don’t see this cart for heavy duty jobs, but for large items with decent weight. Aa cart to tote beach chairs, strapped on containers, or a large number of store packages (in a strapped on box).

Took this to Westport WA to try to catch some surfperch. Used it on the fisherman’s wharf and also on the beach. It made fishing so much more enjoyable to be able to carry all our fishing poles and coolers. I got a few compliments also when people saw how my fishing poles were so well organized. Can’t wait to use it again next year when going to the coast again.
