I am returning this due to the red dot being offset too far to right side and could not be adjusted to center (confirmed against 2 other red dot sights). Other issue was the riser was too tall (by about 3/8″) for my rifle (Keltec sub2000; other red dots have co-witnessed almost perfectly), and with the low riser it was about 3/8′ too low!FYI – The high riser QD mount bolt is fitted for a Picatinny rail only and probably won’t work on a Weaver mount. However the lower riser uses a narrower mount bolt that is perfect for a Weaver (or Picatinny) rail.Otherwise this was a nice light and compact Red dot, that I would have liked to use if the riser was a bit shorter. The QD feature was quite nice when adjusted and locked down properly.

Just received my TacFire red dot last night and installed it on my AR. Overall just handling the red dot and installing it on my rifle it seems like a great product. Good quality for a great price. I love the 3 color options certain colors may work better with different backgrounds. A good characteristic you don’t find in a inexpensive red dot that the TacFire has is the red dot stays on target even if your not looking straight through the tube. The things I noticed 1.Zeroing the scope is a little interesting, you just need to play around with it. 2. For me the brighter settings for each color seem to have a reflection or glare so I prefer the dimmer settings. 3. Your definitely going to need loctite, during a matter of minutes missing with the brightness settings and missing with elevation and windage I had to continuously tighten the thumb screw. But let’s face it you get what you pay for but overall great product and I’d buy another.
Ok, let’s get this out of the way…yes, It’s cheap and certainly isn’t a Romeo 5…so let’s not compare it to one. As of recent, these are most definitely closing the gap on the Romeo 5, in the cost category but overall, It’s a good, decent, functional and reliable little red/green dot scope. The ONLY complaint that I have about these is that the price keeps getting higher and higher here on Amazon. The price is what turned me on to these, (initially $23 in OCT 2019), and is what made me like them so much. Today’s price, $40 is nearly double what I bought my first three units for not 8 months ago…with every price increase, these loose more of their advantage over a high-dollar red dot. As a matter of fact, I logged on tonight to buy three more but the price increase made me hold off and just write a review of my first six units. These have no magnification but for that matter, neither do the $100 & $200 red dots…all of these are just a dot and whatever eyesight you’ve got.Personally, I like to spend the majority of my money on guns NOT glass. I shoot an AR-15 in 3 gun and a 9mm PCC in IDPA and Tac Pistol at our local range. The targets are 10-20 yards typically and occasionally we’ll get a 50-yard target. This red/green dot sight works perfectly for my uses and I have been pleased with all of them. At the end of the day, I now own six (6) of these and have them on lots of different guns. I was looking to buy three more of them but at $40, they’re getting too close to the name brand red dots. They way I look at it, once you reach 40%-50% of what a big name optic costs…you may as well get the big name optic and get the extra frills that come with them, motion activated on/off, etc.I still love these though, just not the price increases. I started out with my first three to put on my son’s air rifles, they were $23 to start with (8 months ago). After being pleasantly surprised with the air gun use, I ordered three more for my 22LR’s. The second batch of three, 5 mos ago, the price jumped up to $29. I’ve got these on everything and they hold up very well. I have two of them on Crosman air guns, one springer, one pump, and they are still holding up to use/abuse from my 12 year old.I have another two of these on 22 LR rifles- a single shot break action 22 and a Ruger 10/22, reliable and all holding zero very well. I have another two of these on 9mm PCC’s, one an AR-15 and another on a Ruger PC9 that I shoot PCC matches in every month. All total, we’ve put about 6,000 rounds of bb’s & pellets through them, over 4,000 rounds of 22LR and just over 2,500 rounds of 9mm through these and they’re all holding up well, not a single problem.Unfortunately, my only problem now is that I’m skiddish to order another three for $120 total when I still have fresh memories if my first three in Oct 2019 that cost $69 total. My only problem is the price increases…maybe it’s Trumps tariffs on goods from “Ch-eye-na”, maybe it’s popularity because these are selling so well, I dunno but I’m pausing on my next purchase of three solely because of the price. They’re still a great red/green dot for the money but I’ve reached my pucker point for a cheap sight. Put another $60 with it and get a Romeo 5….it’s making me think. 🙂
My review: For starters. i installed the combo on and went to the range. Here’s what I found. The red dot is very bright and sharp, I had no issues picking it up in the full sun, the optic mounted tight and securely to my receiver, the weight is manageable, not light as a feather but not heavy either, the finish was typical of a budget optic, the glass on the RED DOT was very sharp, BUT I wish the glass on the MAGNIFIER was sharper~ it left more to be desired. Overall construction seemed very SOLID. There is a little “play” in the magnifier but I have ZERO complaints and didn’t even notice it while shooting however I would prefer it were a more solid spring hinge. It is a push button design, I would like to see a flip design that doesn’t require the push of a button. Setup was medium difficulty level. I had dark shadow in the lower 1/3 of the glass when first mounted so I added a UTG “low” picatinni riser to bring the glass higher above the receiver and that fixed the issue, I liked that they included a hex screw driver to adjust up/down/left/right of magnifier to get proper center alignment of the red dot paired with the magnifier. It would be more convenient if this adjustment function was a “tool~less” design maybe with turning turrets. One thing i found very helpful was to mount the magnifier as far back on the rail as it would go as well as being the focus ring all the way out. This gave me optimum eye relief and viewing. One thing I was disappointed about was the low light transmission, I noticed at dusk it was noticeably dark. My favorite feature of all besides the very bright red dot was the 5x magnification. For this reason I can’t justify spending so much more for anything with less. Overall, I was surprised how much I liked the form and function of this setup. Also, I very much like how it looks. Side by side with optics of higher price, a person would not be able to distinguish a noticeable difference. I’m a world of very expensive things, I’m impressed with the high quality level and low affordable price of this setup. The pro’s:1.) PRICE (every other magnifier I see online is like $300)2.) VERSATILITY: zoom range is 1-5x (way more glass than the others which are normally 3x.Cons:1.) low quality glass2.) poor light transmission at duskI rate this optic a SOLID 8/10 overall. I’m very surprised and pleased with how it preformed. I was going to give it a 4-star Amazon rate but the low price tag compared to what you’re getting raised the value level enough in my mind to give it a low 5-star. I don’t believe you will be disappointed in any way with this product. Personally I had my doubts at first but after running several hundred rounds through it, I loved it more and more. Hopefully in the future Feyachi continues to improve their product and enhance the user experience even more.

I have put this on my RWS pellet rifle. My review is limited because I haven’t shot with it. It is bright and very clear.

If you put a picatinny rail on the side and attach this to it with an optic, it clears enough to fold the kel-tec sub 2000
Works as advertised. I can now shoot 2 inch groups at 100 yards.
Took me a bit to sight in. Dot is visible during the day and night. Decent for the price.
i really liike the simplicity of the mounting of this red dot. its taking about 20 shots with my 22 cal air rifle to get it close to being sighted in. Its holding a real good grouping. so far its a good red dot.
If this had buttons instead of the rotary knob I think that’d make it the best value in all of Amazon. They do have the next tier model with that function but I don’t think at that price it’s worth it.
The quality is great! The glass is perfect and the brightness and size of the dot is awesome! I had an idea, not sure what the community thinks, but I posted an image to have a removeable reticle for the scope. What do you guys think? Just an idea, not sure if it would even be needed or useful, just a fun concept.
I stuck this thing on a KS7, which is a 12 gauge bullpup shotgun known for outrageous recoil, and I run 1¼oz, 1300fps high recoil slugs through it almost exclusively. I’ve left it in my car overnight in the bitter Idaho cold and heated it up to 85 in the morning, every day and night for weeks. This thing WILL NOT LET GO OF ZERO. IT IS SO DARN CONSISTENT. I’m genuinely blown away, I never thought a 30 dollar optic would run like this. With that said, the selector knob that chooses color/intensity and activates the laser aperture is starting to get a little finicky, it wants to be set very squarely in the detent to turn on, but I’ve never had a shot jostle it off or anything.Overall, I find this to be an exquisite value for the money. I’ve seen other companies put their branding on it and try to sell it for double the price, and honestly, that’s not crazy. I’m very happy with this thing, and doubly so at this price point
I have an AR-15 and I’m new to buying accessories. My main issue with this scope is how hard it is to turn on and how long it takes. This would definitely not be something you would want to use in a self-defense situation. I guess unless you were sitting there with it already turned on. You have to hold down the up arrow button for so long on this thing I thought the batteries were dead because I kept holding down on the button for a few seconds thinking that it would be long enough. In the future I definitely will only consider getting a scope with the shake-a-wake feature. Aside from that I do like the scope. You can toggle between a Green Dot and a red dot which makes it easy for citing it in with other laser dots. I went to an outdoor tactical range and made every shot with my AR
Built very well, solid, looks good too, and it works just as it should
This sight looks and feels like a $250 item, and works like it too. It may not have the absolute sharpest reticle/ crosshairs on the market, but I’d like to see anyone find one that’s better for $25 bucks. The machining of it is superb and far from having the typical Chinese feel of many Chinese made items. Love, love, love it so far on my 995ts carbine.
Its a nice made aluminum picatinny for hk mp5 style firearms or airsoft. But this does not fit the MKE AP5P. The picatinny just barely impedes the motion of the charging handle.
I recently bought the Khaki color, I already have the black one.I need to say that I have not used either yet, this is just all about shipping, product quality, and appearances. The ONLY reason I gave this 4 stars is that I have not taken it to the range and tested it yet, otherwise if that works, I’ll change it to 5 stars. It got her really fast, two days just like they said. So, no problems there, plus, it was packed well with air bags to ensure it’s intact arrival. From what I can tell, ALL parts work and they are all very clean, no burs, no scrapes, no dings, just the way it should come. The battery, allen tool, and the cleaning cloth were all here and working normal. There have been no adjustments to the dot because I need to go to a range to do that, if there is a problem, I will come back and say.The color, ALL Khaki and Flat Dark Earth colors are always slightly different. I have a Sub2000 that has FDE rubber grips, the butt-pad is also FDE, and my forward grip is FDE, this color Khaki is as close to FDE as I have personally witnessed. It’s really close, to MY stuff, but, not an exact match at all, and really, you really shouldn’t expect an exact match. For one thing, the rubber, grip plastics, and silicone butt-pads are all made by different companies, and, they are all different kinds of material, so to expect perfection is not something to happen.Tan, Khaki, and FDE, and even Coyote are all close, and are mislabeled a lot of the times, people think of colors in strange ways, or they may not care as much when writing the product’s descriptions.(Coyote is not really even close, but it is lumped into these colors all of the time)Anyway, I am happy with the FDE color I wanted, now to see how well this thing performs, or, doesn’t.We’ll see.
I was super excited for this sight to come in. I got a new AR that I’ve been patiently waiting to take to the range. My firearm hobby is pretty expensive so I wanted to find a budget sight for now. It got here and I opened it, initially satisfied with the packaging. I quickly realized there were no directions. Fortunately, it’s not hard to figure out but where you put the battery didn’t even have it marked which way was positive and which was negative to put the battery in correctly. The knob to turn on and adjust brightness is VERY tight, which isn’t necessarily bad so it doesn’t change settings easily but with the lack of grip don’t expect quick adjustments on a hot summer day. The knobs to accommodate for elevation and windage are pretty loose. The dot and lenses are clear. Almost surprisingly clear. Brightness isn’t that noticably changed with the 9 different levels (0 is just off). I can tell between level1 and 10.. but not dramatically different.Quality of the optic seemed great initially, it seemed solid and had good weight to it. Not that you’d want it to be heavy but it felt solid. I liked the riser that came with it. As I was looking it over, I saw several small gouges in the metal body of the optic. It doesn’t affect operation but that stinks that it was messed up right out of the box.I’ll be returning since there are other low cost sights that have great reviews. I’m aware that you can’t expect too much for a $30 red dot but I’d at least hope it wouldn’t be damaged before even attaching it to a rifle. For the cost, it gets the job done. Quality control could be better.Update: The seller did personally reach out to make things right. They offered to replace or refund the product. For that, I am very satisfied. I may have had poor luck with the one that I received but the seller made sure to take care of it!
I recently had the opportunity to upgrade my firearm with the Vortex Optics Strikefire II Red Dot Sights, and I must say, it’s an absolute game-changer. This piece of equipment isn’t just a sight; it’s a significant enhancement to my shooting experience that combines functionality, aesthetics, and value in a way few products can match. The Strikefire II immediately enhances the look of my firearm, adding an undeniable layer of sophistication and professionalism. I recently acquired the Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 red dot sight for my Benjamin Marauder Pistol, and I must say, it has surpassed all my expectations. From the moment I opened the box, I knew I was in for a treat.Installation was a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly design and straightforward instructions. Once mounted on my pistol, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sight was already close to being sighted in right out of the box. This saved me a significant amount of time and effort in the zeroing process, allowing me to focus on enjoying my shooting experience. One of the standout features of the Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 is its exceptional brightness, even in broad daylight. The red dot remains vivid and highly visible, enabling quick target acquisition and enhancing my shooting accuracy. The durable construction instills confidence in its ability to withstand the rigors of regular use. The 3 MOA dot is crisp and precise, enabling me to consistently hit my targets with ease. The adjustable brightness settings cater to various lighting conditions, ensuring optimal performance in any environment.Another noteworthy aspect is the battery life. The sight uses a single CR2032 battery, which lasts a remarkable amount of time. This ensures that I can rely on the red dot sight during extended shooting sessions without worrying about battery drainage. In summary, the Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 is an exceptional red dot sight that delivers unparalleled performance and accuracy. Clear glass, sturdy, lightweight, with adjustable dot brightness. Easy to install on any pic rail. Has worked well under recoil. Also, half the price of similar optics. What’s not to like? Well, it won’t fit on RMR-style pistols. I tried 🙁 That’s the only negative about this red dot.
Surprisingly not terrible given the low price. Glass is clear and adjustments are positive and tactile. The dot is a bit fuzzy at brighter light settings, and it is not for precise or professional work. For a plinker or range gun, not a bad budget choice.
Great red dot value. For this price, you cannot beat it! This is the fifth Romeo-5 I have purchased and I have not been disappointed. Dead on balls accurate out of the package. Mounted it on my new AR build and put. a one inch group at center mass at 100 yards. All this for less than $130!
Nice sight that you can reverse the mount on.
