Air fryers have become one of the hottest appliances in cooking over the past few years. Consumers crave crunchy fried chicken or crispy French fries but don’t want to eat out or fry these meals at home. It’s unhealthy to eat food that is fried in grease, which means many of these foods are off-limits to dieters. Not with air fryers. Homeowners can enjoy crispy fried meals without exceeding their calorie goals.
However, there are some drawbacks to owning a basic air fryer. Not everyone has the counter space for these appliances or the cabinet storage to put them away. Some homeowners in small kitchens have avoided air fryers because they don’t have room for them.
If this sounds familiar, you have options. Consider buying an oven with air fryer technology. You already have an oven and stovetop – why not choose one with an air fryer built in? Get to know some of the top options on the market if you need an oven with built-in air fryer.
Why invest in an oven with air fryer?
There are many reasons to buy an oven with multiple functions and appliances built in. Even if you aren’t sure if you will use them regularly in your home. A few reasons to invest in an oven with air fryer include:
- You won’t have another bulky appliance on your countertop. You increase your cooking options without taking away space.
- You can explore new ways to cook your favorite recipes. It might be easier to make your famous fried chicken with an oven air fryer.
- The oven becomes an asset to the home. You can market the appliance if you decide to move and appeal to buyers who love to cook.
- You might discover that you love using it! The only way to know is to test out your air fryer and see what delicious meals come from it.
Many homeowners adore their ovens with built-in air fryers because they have more flexibility when cooking. They can make a variety of meals without having to use multiple appliances or clean up greasy pots and pans after dinner.
Find Options That Make Your Kitchen Size
Ovens come in a variety of sizes, which means you don’t have to buy a bulky appliance in order to enjoy air fry capabilities. Start by identifying the type of appliance you need, whether you are looking for a gas oven with air fryer or an electric oven with air fryer. Then measure your space. Some brands, like GE, include “perfect fit guarantees” with their oven sales. This means you won’t buy an oven that is too wide to fit in your space.
Once you have your size and fuel requirements, you can start to look for ovens based on your price range, preferred brands, and features. You might be surprised at how affordable these appliances are – even if added features like WiFi connectivity and air fryer functionality.
Your final step is to choose the right color. Pick a stainless steel oven or look for black and slate finishes that match your design style instead. With all of these decisions made, you can enjoy your new oven and spend years cooking all of your favorite meals.
Samsung 30″ Fingerprint Resistant Black Stainless Steel Slide-In Electric Range
This is one of the best oven with air fryer models on the market. Samsung continues to improve the technology of its appliances while looking for new integrations and opportunities. This stovetop comes with five burners in varying sizes, so you can boil a family-size pot of pasta or simply heat up a cup of soup.
The Powerful Convection+ oven features cook food quickly and evenly. The fan in the back of the oven circulates hot air throughout the space so your dishes are cooked well each time. You no longer need to live with an oven that burns half of your cookies while leaving the rest raw. This oven fits 6.3 cubic feet of space, which is ideal for large dishes and roasting pans.
Of course, you can’t talk about this oven without highlighting the Air Fry mode. This is built into the appliance to create crispier meals that are also healthier. An air fry tray is also included. The prices for this Samsung oven with air fryer start around $1,850 if you want to order it in black stainless steel. Existing customers rave about this oven, stovetop, and air fryer system, however, there are plenty of other Samsung oven models to choose from at a variety of price points.
GE® 30″ Slate Slide In Electric Convection Range
As you explore different appliances, make sure you look into a GE oven with air fryer. This oven preheats quickly so you can spend more time cooking and less time waiting for your appliance to heat up. It has five electric cooking elements on the stovetop – with one specifically dedicated to warming food over low heat. The other four burners come in various sizes meant for large pots or smaller sauté pans.
The air fry system doesn’t require a preheating period, which means you can enjoy delicious crispy meals quickly. Every minute counts when cooking and you can shorten your cooking time by using an oven that gets hot faster. You can also manage this appliance with built-in WiFi, which is powered by the SmartHQ by GE. You can also connect the oven to your home voice assistant to control the temperature through a single command. Ask Siri to set a timer while both of your hands are busy kneading dough.
This oven comes in a variety of colors, including stainless steel, black stainless steel, white, and slate. You can buy it for $1,200 in stainless steel. This is a popular model with customers who rave about the ease of use and the wide racks for baking.
LG 30″ PrintProof™ Stainless Steel Free Standing Electric Range with Air Fry
LG is another top brand to explore if you are in the market for an oven with air fryer. This oven comes with seven different rack positions so you can cook your food close to the coils or as far away as possible. The oven comes with three racks as well, which is ideal for cooking multiple courses at the same time. While the oven runs, you can keep cooking on the electric stovetop, which has five burners that come in multiple sizes. All of these features make the oven flexible and practical for large families.
This oven also connects to LG’s proprietary ThinQ® system, which means it is WiFi-compatible. You can extend the cooking time of your dinner or increase and decrease the temperature to achieve the perfect meal – all without leaving your couch. Don’t let dinner interrupt your true crime streaming or interrupt your meetings if you work from home.
Customers can also enjoy the air fry features built into this model. Bite into crispy chicken without having to use bottles of oil and a standard fryer in your home. You can enjoy the flavor without the calories. You can take home this LG oven with air fryer – or other LG oven models – for $1,150. LG has invested heavily in oven development and the positive customer reviews reflect the company’s success.

How To Buy The Best Wall Oven In 2022
If you’re looking to free up some space in your kitchen, you may want to go with a wall oven instead of a standing oven. These ovens have come a long way and now offer a wide range of attractive features.
Begin your search for the best wall oven by measuring your available space and finding units that will fit in that space. You can further narrow your choice by figuring out what type of heating you’d like. Oven capacity is also something to consider. You’ll find a capacity of 5.1 cubic feet is quite common.
Determine whether you’d like a single or double unit. Single ovens are great for individuals and couples who don’t do a lot of entertaining. Double ovens provide the ability to cook dinner in one oven and dessert in the other. They can be a lifesaver when preparing for a dinner party.
Check to see if the wall oven has a convection feature. Convection cooking systems circulate the hot air in your oven so that your food is cooked evenly from all sides. Some models even include a temperature probe that lets you know when your dish has reached the desired internal temperature.
Review how easy the unit is to use. Models with glass touch electronic controls, for example, aren’t hard to operate — plus, they’re a cinch to clean. Additionally, some wall ovens are able to preheat quickly, while others allow you to delay the start time of your bake.
When deciding between two or three wall ovens, look for any extra features that add to the appeal of the unit. For example, some stainless steel models are smudge-proof, which is an important feature if you have small children at home. Others are made with large windows and two 25-watt auto-control oven lights that make it easy to check on the progress of your food without opening the oven door.
The Wall Oven Tips and Advice
Most wall ovens now include a self-cleaning feature. How often you use this feature is up to you. If you bake often, you may want to clean the oven once a month. Others who only cook occasionally may wish to wait three or four months before cleaning the oven. To use the self-cleaning feature on your wall oven, you’ll need to remove the oven racks and lock the oven door. Make sure the area is well ventilated and turn on any nearby exhaust fans. Start the cleaning cycle by pressing the designated button. Once the cycle has ended and the oven has cooled, you can wipe up any residue with a damp towel.
Never use any cleaning products with the self-cleaning feature on your wall oven. The oven will do all the cleaning for you without the aid of a chemical solution.
Wash your oven racks with dish soap and water. Use a steel wool pad to lift away stuck-on foods.
Clean the outside of your wall oven with a little dish soap and water. If the surface is glass, you can go back over it with a little vinegar and water to give it a nice streak-free shine.
Reduce possible messes by placing a large baking sheet on the rack below your food. It will catch any spills and extend the length of time in between cleanings.
You’ll find wall ovens at a variety of price points, as some have larger capacities and others are made with both upper and lower oven units.

I have mixed feelings about this product. On one hand, I love the overall design. GE did a great job of fitting 5 burners into a 30 inch cooktop. I looked at a lot of cooktops and they often waste a lot of space around the control knobs to one side of the burners. By putting the knobs in the front center GE conserved space that got put to good use with a fifth burner and it also makes the cooktop look very slick. I also love the griddle that’s included and use it fairly often for breakfasts. I do however have some issues with the design of the burner grates. They seem to me to be too high and put too much distance between the burner and the cookware. I have a whistling tea kettle that I usually put on the medium sized burners at the front. The kettle takes much longer to boil than it did on our old glass top electric cooktop and it never really whistles much which tells me that it isn’t coming to a very vigorous boil. Also, the handle of the kettle is to hot to handle without a hot pad once it does boil which suggests to me that there is a lot of heat going around the edges of the kettle and being wasted. If I put the kettle on one of the smaller rear burners it never boils. If I put it on the center “power boil” burner it boils all right but it’s too hot to handle. I’ve used gas ranges for many years and this has never been a problem for me before and the only differnce that I can see is the ammount of space between the burner and the cookware. If you have a larger diameter pan it isn’t as much of an issue but there still seems to be a lot of heat wasted because of the design of the grates.
We moved from a 16 year old GE Profile 4 burner gas cooktop to this GE Cafe 5 burner cooktop.Installed it this weekend and cooked: soup in a large 8 qt pot, boiled water, used the griddle for bacon and French toast, sautéed some vegetables.Pros:- Powerboil feature works great and boils faster than even the most powerful burner on the previous stove.- The middle burner has a two stage burner — you can have a very low flame. Great for low simmer or keeping something warm.Cons:- The knobs do not come off for cleaning.- The griddle has a very shallow liquid well. If you’re cooking bacon, there’s not much room for grease. 4 slices of bacon was enough to fill it. There’s no way to drain it, so had to resort to sopping up the grease with a paper towel. I will not cook bacon on it again.Things to Consider:- There are 3 grates — one each over the two side burners, one over the middle burner. These are heavy and you must move them to clean under them. Our old stove had individual grates, so you only moved one to clean underneath.- The cast iron grates scratch the stainless if you’re not careful when you move it.- the overall height from the counter to the top of burner is higher than our old stove. We have an over stove microwave and we lost some clearance.I read some reviews that said the height between the flame and the pan was too great. We measured our old stove and measured this. They were both the same, and we measured a number of other cook tops at Home Depot. There wasn’t much difference. The issue that some folks my have had may be related to BTU rating of the burners of the old stove, vs the new stove. All in all, happy with the stove.
I’ve only had it for a day but the oven seems to work well with decent quality for a great price. As others have noted, it came in a standard box vs a shipping box. The box had taken several hits and gashes but the oven seems OK except for a slight ding on the back corner that does not appear to affect functionality and can’t be seen. The manual that came in the box did not have good electrical installation instructions but I poked around on the web to find out what to do. At some point I found another manual at the Empava web site that had excellent instructions. Although it is a new oven it uses the old 3 wire 240 wiring and previous oven was 4 wire. Also note that the oven can’t be installed into the specified size opening once you have connected the wiring since the installed flexible conduit mounts to the oven top and it sticks up higher than the top of the oven. You either have to connect it from the top after it is in place or do your own rewiring such that the conduit exits the back of the oven.update: downgrade to 2 stars . The oven quit working after a few days. Amazon sent a replacement but it was dinged up and the glass door cracked due to usual shipment in a non-shipping box. I think I have managed to put together a working unit from the two damaged ovens. We’ll see if it stays working.
there was a shipping hang up but once i contacted the supplier they got on it and it was fixed promptly
Nice
The oven cooks food well, if you can get it to cook it…The software is very hard to use. It’s inoperative when coming to telling it to go from pre-heat to bake, it keeps flashing no matter if I hold a button or not, following all directions from the user manual. It will not switch between the two. This thing does not hold temperature very well during the time you are taking things out of the oven.To make things worse, when you have a temperature completely pre-heated and manage to switch to bake, the temperature rapidly falls instead of staying at where it was set.Lastly, this oven is small, so it is meant for a single person, or two, maybe a single family, but definitely not of significant size, 2-3 people at max. It can only fit standard, small size baking trays.Overall, if you can manage to get it to operate like it is supposed to, I am sure this oven would be fine dependent on your family size. However, in its current state, being very difficult to use or even inoperable, I would not recommend this oven.
I’ve had two different repair technicians out to our home to look at this brand new oven that came with our home. The oven display panel shows that it has finished preheated and the oven makes music indicating that it has finished preheating. However, the oven is NOT up to temperature. The thermometer that I ended up having to purchase is indicating that the temperature is 100 degrees lower. The oven eventually gets up to the correct temperature (takes 20 mins longer after the display and music indicates that it’s finished preheating) and because the oven eventually gets to the correct temperature the GD repair technicians are happy with the results and declare that the oven is working perfectly fine. The last technician explained that the GE engineers, “just want to make people happy so they show the temperature preheating quickly” – WHAT? I just want an oven that is actually preheated when it is telling me that it has finished preheating. Oh and before leaving both technicians warned me to not use the self cleaning feature because it can shatter the glass on the oven and then wished me a happy Thanksgiving. WHAT????
Value was good for money spent
overall, happy with this oven. main gripe is the wonky controls and beeping associated with every button press/minute increase on the timer. After months, I still accidentally hit the power button instead of the “ok” button after adjustment…which clears the settings I just entered. the button press beeps are loud and annoying with no option to disable.
My first review right after I got the oven was only two stars, because of poor shipping service. So I am submitting a review today of the actual oven that I received. I love this oven. The only feature that I used on my old oven was a pre heat setting, that this one does not have. But that is all right. I find it isn’t any faster or slower to heat up without the pre heat feature. It is easy to use and it looks great in my kitchen. I enjoy baking with my new oven. I would buy this again.
We only used this oven a few times. The problems we are having may have a simple solution. Those problems are failure of the oven to hold the set temperature. We intend to contact the supplier for guidance.
I really like the look of this product. It fit nearly perfectly in the existing 24” cabinet and the electrical connection was fairly easy, but you do need to hook in the pigtail supplied and wire it into your 220V line – it’s not a plug. It heated quickly to do the initial burn off of the surface oils. The controls are easy for me but not so much for my very elderly mom. They are a bit odd, particularly with the right timer/on knob that can turn the oven off when the timer dings. We won’t use that feature, just leave it in the on position and turn the oven on or off with the middle knob. She had a hard time turning the large knobs, but this shouldn’t be a problem for most. Her big complaint was that that there was only one baking rack supplied but two roasting pans she will never use. I’ve contacted the manufacturer about getting another rack. In the end she was able to turn the middle knob to “bake” and adjust the temp as needed. Great value for the money and nice clean modern looks.
This oven was a great value. It has a rostisse feature that is easy to use. The oven heats a bit slowly unless it is on convection setting. The instruction book needs some work to explain each of the functions, but I was able to find a great youtube video to walk me through the steps. Other than that….happy. The oven is beautiful and complements my kitchen. Thank you Empava for making a great product.
Easy install
Smaller than I thought, but looks and works great!
I have never had an oven that took hours to cook anything. This is the worst oven ever.
Nice little oven – came on time – no waiting – and so far so good – No complaints
I read the reviews about the oven not keeping the set temperature and they are correct! If you set the oven to 350, it might reach it once but then the temp will drop almost 20 degrees and work it’s way back up to 347. I tried 300 degrees and it does the same. Setting it to 355 will ultimately get you to 350ish but the temp rises and falls from 330ish to 350ish. I would never pay full price for this oven. I got it as a return. If temperature is important (like making a soufflé) you don’t want this oven.
