We wanted a wooden swing set for our daughter’s birthday and we looked at what seems like a million! After going back and forth between a few of the Chinese manufactured sets, we decided we were going to spend the extra money on an American made swing set and picked the Clayton Classic 4. First bonus, it came a week early! I was a little nervous to start pulling stuff out because of horror stories I read on instruction clarity and organization of the cheaper sets but my husband just went for it day 1. All of the boxes were labeled and organized by section. The instructions were clear and easy to understand with box locations for each piece. The pieces are not labeled so you need basic tape measure knowledge to measure to find the correct piece and common sense to match the pictures of hole patterns but I prefer that over letters stamped all over. The material is SOLID! The hardware is SOLID! The engineering is so smart. It took me and my husband a couple hours a day after work for three days to finish assembly. We realistically could have done it in a full day. I am beyond impressed with the quality of the play set. It is beautiful and sturdy. None of the pieces split, there were no knots in inconvenient places, no hardware broke, and holes needed to be moved. We just installed so I will come back and update on longevity if there is an issue. So far, I am very pleased and impressed. Proud to have purchased American.

Nice swing but I find it a little small… you can see one picture has my size 13″ shoe on the seat… swing fits my 5 yr old without issue. good for young kids, as they get bigger the swing will get a little tight.see pictures posted. This set is sturdy and is by far so much better then anything you get at the big box stores or the others off amazon. I had a gorilla playset before this and it was so cheap and I did not want to get another one. I did a lot of research and this swing set was something I could afford and it was made in America. It is like those per-made very expensive swing sets. I can not say enough about the fact it is real wood and SO STURDY. I have 4 kids who play on it all at once and there isn’t any issues.The downside is nothing lines up. I mean 95% of the holes are wrong. We had to drill extra things and use a hammer to get the screws into the holes. If it would have been drilled correctly this swing set would get 5 stars and it would have gone up in a few hours verse the 8-10 it took my husband and I to do.
Nice swings, but one swing split (where a knot is located) only one day after we hung it up. Unfortunately, the 30 day return window has closed and there is no option to contact the seller. I recommend unpacking the swing(s) right away snd inspecting them closely.
